Title: How do you think the CET4?
Now ,many college students are preparing for CET4 .As we all know ,many students can't past it for one time,and they take much time for it .On the other hand ,those who pasted the CET4 are better than those who don't pasted it?

It is not hard for the one who is good at english . But opposite for others . I think keeping your interests in english blogs here could help . Besides , training your skill of taking english exam like cet 4 is necessary .

One of my friends whose oral English is perfect good failed to the CET-4 for two timens. He don't why, nor do I. But he has got a good job in a English training school. By the way, Regardless that I have passed the CET-6, but I find that I am far far behind the others. During the time I was finding jobs, It did nothing helpful to me. So I think It's nothing but a certificate.

CET - 4 is short for 'College English Test band 4 '.It's a type of English identification only for Chinese college students.Originally it was just a test for those who would like to confirm their English level voluntarily .However CET seems to become an essential necessity of every student ,no matter what his or her major is .
You know ,that would be a tragedy .
In my opinion ,CET can not testify the entire abilities from just a few pieces of papers .
In conclusion CET need to be reformed and improved .It will be success while a Chinese student can easily make a communication with foreigner .

Many student can't gratuate if they haven't got a CET4 certificate. Some colleges have particular requirement of their graduates' grade of the CET4.

I think there are a great many resource referring to such subjects available on the Internet, which may help the students who are eager to improve their English rapidly.

However, if one genuinely desire to enhance his English, he should aim not only at the exams but the ability, the extensive aspects of the language.

We should never struggle for all sorts of tests, but for the material targets.

I felt the same with you,although Passed the Cet6,however I find my English is still very poor,especially th oral English,I am a little confuse that this level seem to come to no more effect in finding a job

I think study environment is pretty neccesary, we should use it more rather than to pass the exam.

Cet4 only benefit us to study English,exactly just enhance our vocabulary.But sometimes we learn English only for passing the exam,and is not good for our oral English.The most important aspect of language is to communicate.To learn how to talk with foriegners is a exact test of English level.

I think the Cet4 plays more a role of incentive(than just an exam ) to remind u of keeping learning English and warn u that ur English is not that good,for many students getting into college just give up learning English if there is no such an exam,you know, We are all mentally lazy.ithink It only needs some improvement to make it more convictive on the aspect of speaking and writing. Besides,up till now I still can't understand why some people can't pass it after at least 6 years's learning,especially after having done tons of exercises on reading,wrting,listening to get well prepared for the college entrance examination.

I think CET-4/6 just a exam to us, it doesn't all represent our abilities in english. most we use english is for communication, oral english is important for us. in the college, teachers put more emphasis on the exam and ignore the ability we should use it. some students cheat in the CET-4/6 exam, it is just for pasting and getting graduation certificate. the school have distorted the original intention for english education. i think the school should launch quality education and develop courses or activies to improve the students' english application. make the learning in school is useful in the everyday communication. arouse the interesting of students'.
