過年準備 Preparing for the New Year

For all Chinese, the Spring Festival is the most important day in the year. The celebration for it is very big, so people must do many preparations for it. The two most important things are cleaning and buying. People usually do thorough cleanings to welcome the coming New Year. It stands for a fresh start and people’s good wishes for the next year. Besides, because of the big celebration, we have to prepare many things. Therefore, purchase is essential. We buy foods for the big dinner, snacks and fruits for the holiday. Every family prepares a lot for it, so the market is alive at the end of the year. We can buy everything outside. Cleaning and buying have become traditions. 對于所有中國人來說，春節是一年中最重要的節日。人們很隆重的慶祝這個節日，所以會做許多的準備，其中最重要的兩項就是打掃和采買。年前，人們通常會做徹底的大掃除來迎接新年，那代表著全新的開始，也寄托著人們對來年的美好愿望。另外，因為要隆重地慶祝春節，我們要準備許多東西，因此，采購是必要活動。我們購買許多食材，準備年夜飯，也會買零食和水果在節日里吃。每個家庭都會買許多東西，所以年前的市場都很熱鬧。我們可以買所有的東西。大掃除和采購已經成為傳統。
