The accidents on the zebra lines will be getting less if people care more about the road safety.Unfortunately, it still leaves much to be desired, because of so-called Chinese style of crossing roads---a way of crossing a road altogether by a group of people, when the traffic light is red. Why do people neglect the safety of their lives so much?
Firstly,it reflects Chinese people's lacking of a rule-obeying awareness. They believe that numerous offenders will not be punished. Second, while jay walkers indeed deserve some reflection, the length of a red light and the imperfection in road conditions need further improvement, which partly accounts for this sorry stateof affair.
