Every individual faces the problem of choosing an occupation after graduating from university, which is of great importance in one’s whole life. An appropriate occupation makes a man work with vigor and zest. Besides, it is beneficial for both the individual and the country.

每個(gè)人在大學(xué)畢業(yè)后都會(huì)面臨擇業(yè)的問題，在一個(gè)人的一生當(dāng)中這是很重要的。一個(gè)合適的工作能使人工作充滿活力和激情。此外，這對個(gè)人和國家都是有益處的。

To make an advisable choice, a graduate should take into account at least two aspects, namely, individual’ interest and the demand of the society. Only when the two aspects are connected, can a man show his ability and talent to the best advantage. If the two factors conflict, the former, in most cases, should give way to the latter, for it‘s interests that stimulate one’s vigor and potential.

做一個(gè)明智的選擇，畢業(yè)生應(yīng)該至少考慮這兩方面，也就是說,個(gè)人的興趣和社會(huì)的需求。只有當(dāng)這兩個(gè)方面相連時(shí),一個(gè)人才可以最好的展示他的能力和天賦。如果這兩個(gè)因素有沖突,前者,在絕大多數(shù)情況下,應(yīng)該讓位于后者,因?yàn)樗睦娲碳と说幕盍蜐摿Α?/p>

In regard to my choice in the future, I want to work as an interpreter. I am keen on learning foreign languages, English in particular. Moreover, in the contemporary society, international exchange in economy and culture has been growing significantly. However, competent interpreters are far from enough. So I am determined to be a qualified interpreter.

考慮到我未來的選擇，我想做口譯。我喜歡學(xué)習(xí)外語，特別是英語。再者，在當(dāng)代社會(huì)，國際交流和文化日益重要。然而，稱職的譯員還是遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)不夠的。所以我決心成為一名合格的口譯員。
