should the parents choose college for kids?
As we can see in the picture, the kid is telling her mom that she was accepted to college. Her mom made this choice for her. But, is this right? Should the parents choose the college for their kids?
I think, parents do this out of their own consideration. Firstly, Kids are at the age of 17 or 18, they may have no plan for their future. Kids lack the knowledge of career. At this time, parents know better of the society and career, so they can give valuable advice to their kids. Secondly, the parents are always do the their best to the kids. Kids may make wrong choice at this very important period of their life. Parents can help them avoid such mistakes.
So i think, parents can choose college for their kids, but at the same time they should value kids’ views.
