課外活動

　　大學(xué)為學(xué)生提供了一個學(xué)習(xí)、成長以及逐漸發(fā)現(xiàn)自己潛力的環(huán)境。有些學(xué)生太過局限于學(xué)習(xí)——下一個考試、論文和作業(yè)——另一些人卻積極參加參加各種課外活動。參與這些活動對學(xué)業(yè)、擇業(yè)及以后的生活都有很大好處。

Extracurricular activities can give students a greater appreciation forsports, hobbies and community service, and help them become healthier and more well-rounded individuals.

　　While academics are obviously important, it is neither necessary or advisable for studentsto spend on hundred percent of their time on their books. University students who devote someof their time and energy to extracurricular activities will be doing a service to their studies, their careers, and even their future life.
