The spring Festival 春節(jié)

The Spring Festival is the most important festival in China. It is on January 1st according to the Chinese lunar calendar(中國的農歷). It’s China’s New Year’s Day. So usually a month before the festival people begin to buy food clothes and decorations(裝飾) for houses.
About a week before the festival housewives are busy preparing the new year dinner. And they will do a lot of washing and cleaning in the houses. People who are far away on business are hurrying to return home for the new year’s family reunion（團聚）.
On New Year Eve each family will gather tighter eating talking and watching TV for almost the whole night. And there will be some interesting programmes on TV. The children are the happiest of all because they can get presents from parents or grandparents.
On Lunar New Year’s Day after getting up people will eat dumplings. When they meet their neighbours or friends they’ll say: “Happy New Year!”

春節(jié)是中國最重要的節(jié)日。它是根據中國農歷1月1日(中國的農歷)。這是中國的新年。所以通常節(jié)日人們開始前的一個月買食物衣服和裝飾品(裝飾)的房屋。
大約一個星期前的新年節(jié)日家庭主婦正忙著準備晚餐。,他們會做很多的洗滌和清潔房子。遠方出差的人匆匆回家的新年家庭聚會(團聚)。
在新年前夕每個家庭將更嚴格的飲食說話,幾乎整個晚上看電視。而且會有一些有趣的電視節(jié)目。所有的孩子是最幸福的,因為他們能夠從父母或祖父母得到禮物。
在農歷新年的一天起床后人們會吃餃子。當他們見到他們的鄰居或朋友他們會說:“新年快樂!”
