19：1 希西家王聽見，就撕裂衣服，披上麻布，進了耶和華的殿。

　　And it came to pass， when king Hezekiah heard it， that he rent his clothes， and covered himself with sackcloth， and went into the house of the LORD.

　　19：2 使家宰以利亞敬和書記舍伯那，并祭司中的長老，都披上麻布，去見亞摩斯的兒子先知以賽亞，And he sent Eliakim， which was over the household， and Shebna the scribe， and the elders of the priests， covered with sackcloth， to Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz.

　　19：3 對他說，希西家如此說，今日是急難，責(zé)罰，凌辱的日子，就如婦人將要生產(chǎn)嬰孩，卻沒有力量生產(chǎn)。

　　And they said unto him， Thus saith Hezekiah， This day is a day of trouble， and of rebuke， and blasphemy； for the children are come to the birth， and there is not strength to bring forth.

　　19：4 或者耶和華你的神聽見拉伯沙基的一切話，就是他主人亞述王打發(fā)他來辱罵永生神的話，耶和華你的神聽見這話，就發(fā)斥責(zé)。故此，求你為馀剩的民揚聲禱告。

　　It may be the LORD thy God will hear all the words of Rabshakeh， whom the king of Assyria his master hath sent to reproach the living God； and will reprove the words which the LORD thy God hath heard： wherefore lift up thy prayer for the remnant that are left.

　　19：5 希西家王的臣仆就去見以賽亞。

　　So the servants of king Hezekiah came to Isaiah.

　　19：6 以賽亞對他們說，要這樣對你們的主人說，耶和華如此說，你聽見亞述王的仆人褻瀆我的話，不要懼怕。

　　And Isaiah said unto them， Thus shall ye say to your master， Thus saith the LORD， Be not afraid of the words which thou hast heard， with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.

　　19：7 我必驚動（原文作使靈進入）他的心，他要聽見風(fēng)聲就歸回本地。我必使他在那里倒在刀下。

　　Behold， I will send a blast upon him， and he shall hear a rumour， and shall return to his own land； and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.

　　19：8 拉伯沙基回去，正遇見亞述王攻打立拿，原來他早聽見亞述王拔營離開拉吉。

　　So Rabshakeh returned， and found the king of Assyria warring against Libnah： for he had heard that he was departed from Lachish.

　　19：9 亞述王聽見人論古實王特哈加說，他出來要與你爭戰(zhàn)。于是亞述王又打發(fā)使者去見希西家，吩咐他們說，And when he heard say of Tirhakah king of Ethiopia， Behold， he is come out to fight against thee： he sent messengers again unto Hezekiah， saying，

　　19：10 你們對猶大王希西家如此說，不要聽你所倚靠的神欺哄你說，耶路撒冷必不交在亞述王的手中。

　　Thus shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah， saying， Let not thy God in whom thou trustest deceive thee， saying， Jerusalem shall not be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria.

　　19：11 你總聽說亞述諸王向列國所行的，乃是盡行滅絕，難道你還能得救嗎。

　　Behold， thou hast heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands， by destroying them utterly： and shalt thou be delivered？

　　19：12 我列祖所毀滅的，就是歌散，哈蘭，利色，和屬提拉撒的伊甸人，這些國的神何曾拯救這些國呢。

　　Have the gods of the nations delivered them which my fathers have destroyed； as Gozan， and Haran， and Rezeph， and the children of Eden which were in Thelasar？

　　19：13 哈馬的王，亞珥拔的王，西法瓦音城的王，希拿，和以瓦的王都在哪里呢。

　　Where is the king of Hamath， and the king of Arpad， and the king of the city of Sepharvaim， of Hena， and Ivah？

　　19：14 希西家從使者手里接過書信來，看完了，就上耶和華的殿，將書信在耶和華面前曬開。

　　And Hezekiah received the letter of the hand of the messengers， and read it： and Hezekiah went up into the house of the LORD， and spread it before the LORD.

　　19：15 希西家向耶和華禱告說，坐在二基路伯上耶和華以色列的神阿，你是天下萬國的神，你曾創(chuàng)造天地。

　　And Hezekiah prayed before the LORD， and said， O LORD God of Israel， which dwellest between the cherubims， thou art the God， even thou alone， of all the kingdoms of the earth； thou hast made heaven and earth.

　　19：16 耶和華阿，求你側(cè)耳而聽。耶和華阿，求你睜眼而看。要聽西拿基立打發(fā)使者來辱罵永生神的話。

　　LORD， bow down thine ear， and hear： open， LORD， thine eyes， and see： and hear the words of Sennacherib， which hath sent him to reproach the living God.

　　19：17 耶和華阿，亞述諸王果然使列國和列國之地變?yōu)榛臎觯琌f a truth， LORD， the kings of Assyria have destroyed the nations and their lands，

　　19：18 將列國的神像都扔在火里。因為它本不是神，乃是人手所造的，是木頭石頭的，所以滅絕它。

　　And have cast their gods into the fire： for they were no gods， but the work of men's hands， wood and stone： therefore they have destroyed them.

　　19：19 耶和華我們的神阿，現(xiàn)在求你救我們脫離亞述王的手，使天下萬國都知道惟獨你耶和華是神。

　　Now therefore， O LORD our God， I beseech thee， save thou us out of his hand， that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the LORD God， even thou only.

　　19：20 亞摩斯的兒子以賽亞就打發(fā)人去見希西家，說，耶和華以色列的神如此說，你既然求我攻擊亞述王西拿基立，我已聽見了。

　　Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah， saying， Thus saith the LORD God of Israel， That which thou hast prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria I have heard.

　　19：21 耶和華論他這樣說，錫安的處女藐視你，嗤笑你。耶路撒冷的女子向你搖頭。

　　This is the word that the LORD hath spoken concerning him； The virgin the daughter of Zion hath despised thee， and laughed thee to scorn； the daughter of Jerusalem hath shaken her head at thee.

　　19：22 你辱罵誰。褻瀆誰。揚起聲來，高舉眼目攻擊誰呢。乃是攻擊以色列的圣者。

　　Whom hast thou reproached and blasphemed？ and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice， and lifted up thine eyes on high？ even against the Holy One of Israel.

　　19：23 你藉你的使者辱罵主，并說，我率領(lǐng)許多戰(zhàn)車上山頂，到黎巴嫩極深之處。我要砍伐其中高大的香柏樹和佳美的松樹。我必上極高之處，進入肥田的樹林。

　　By thy messengers thou hast reproached the LORD， and hast said， With the multitude of my chariots I am come up to the height of the mountains， to the sides of Lebanon， and will cut down the tall cedar trees thereof， and the choice fir trees thereof： and I will enter into the lodgings of his borders， and into the forest of his Carmel.

　　19：24 我已經(jīng)在外邦挖井喝水。我必用腳掌踏乾埃及的一切河。

　　I have digged and drunk strange waters， and with the sole of my feet have I dried up all the rivers of besieged places.

　　19：25 耶和華說，我早先所作的，古時所立的，就是現(xiàn)在藉你使堅固城荒廢，變?yōu)閬y堆，這事你豈沒有聽見嗎。

　　Hast thou not heard long ago how I have done it， and of ancient times that I have formed it？ now have I brought it to pass， that thou shouldest be to lay waste fenced cities into ruinous heaps.

　　19：26 所以其中的居民力量甚小，驚惶羞愧。他們像野草，像青菜，如房頂上的草，又如未長成而枯乾的禾稼。

　　Therefore their inhabitants were of small power， they were dismayed and confounded； they were as the grass of the field， and as the green herb， as the grass on the house tops， and as corn blasted before it be grown up.

　　19：27 你坐下，你出去，你進來，你向我發(fā)烈怒，我都知道。

　　But I know thy abode， and thy going out， and thy coming in， and thy rage against me.

　　19：28 因你向我發(fā)烈怒，又因你狂傲的話達到我耳中，我就要用鉤子鉤上你的鼻子，把嚼環(huán)放在你口里，使你從你來的路轉(zhuǎn)回去。

　　Because thy rage against me and thy tumult is come up into mine ears， therefore I will put my hook in thy nose， and my bridle in thy lips， and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest.

　　19：29 以色列人哪，我賜你們一個證據(jù)，你們今年要吃自生的，明年也要吃自長的。至于后年，你們要耕種收割，栽植葡萄園，吃其中的果子。

　　And this shall be a sign unto thee， Ye shall eat this year such things as grow of themselves， and in the second year that which springeth of the same； and in the third year sow ye， and reap， and plant vineyards， and eat the fruits thereof.

　　19：30 猶大家所逃脫馀剩的，仍要往下扎根，向上結(jié)果。

　　And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall yet again take root downward， and bear fruit upward.

　　19：31 必有馀剩的民從耶路撒冷而出。必有逃脫的人從錫安山而來。耶和華的熱心必成就這事。

　　For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant， and they that escape out of mount Zion： the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this.

　　19：32 所以，耶和華論亞述王如此說，他必不得來到這城，也不在這里射箭，不得拿盾牌到城前，也不筑壘攻城。

　　Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the king of Assyria， He shall not come into this city， nor shoot an arrow there， nor come before it with shield， nor cast a bank against it.

　　19：33 他從哪條路來，必從那條路回去，必不得來到這城。這是耶和華說的。

　　By the way that he came， by the same shall he return， and shall not come into this city， saith the LORD.

　　19：34 因我為自己的緣故，又為我仆人大衛(wèi)的緣故，必保護拯救這城。

　　For I will defend this city， to save it， for mine own sake， and for my servant David's sake.

　　19：35 當(dāng)夜，耶和華的使者出去，在亞述營中殺了十八萬五千人。清早有人起來，一看，都是死尸了。

　　And it came to pass that night， that the angel of the LORD went out， and smote in the camp of the Assyrians an hundred fourscore and five thousand： and when they arose early in the morning， behold， they were all dead corpses.

　　19：36 亞述王西拿基立就拔營回去，住在尼尼微。

　　So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed， and went and returned， and dwelt at Nineveh.

　　19：37 一日在他的神尼斯洛廟里叩拜，他兒子亞得米勒和沙利色用刀殺了他，就逃到亞拉臘地。他兒子以撒哈頓接續(xù)他作王。

　　And it came to pass， as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god， that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons smote him with the sword： and they escaped into the land of Armenia. And Esarhaddon his son reigned in his stead.
