If I Had My Life to Live Over
I would have gone to bed when I was sick instead of pretending the earth would go into a holding pattern if I weren't there for the day.
I would have burned the pink candle sculpted like a rose before it melted in storage.

I would never have insisted the car windows be rolled up on a summer day because my hair had just been teased and sprayed.

I would have sat on the lawn with my children and not worried about grass stains.
I would have cried and laughed less while watching television―and more while watching life.
I would never have bought anything just because it was practical, wouldn't show soil, or was guaranteed to last a lifetime. Instead of wishing away nine months of pregnancy, I'd have cherished every moment and realized that the wonderment growing inside me was the only chance in life to assist God in a miracle.

When my kids kissed me impetuously, I would never have said, "Later. Now go get washed up for dinner." Stop sweating the small stuff. Don't worry about who doesn't like you, who has more, or who's doing what. Instead, let's cherish the relationships we have with those who do love us. Let's think about what God has blessed us with and what we are doing each day to promote ourselves mentally, physically, emotionally, as well as spiritually.

我要自己少說話，多聽別人說。
我要請朋友來家里吃飯，地毯弄臟了，沙發(fā)褪色了又何妨？
我要在“講究”的客廳里吃爆玉米花。倘若有人在壁爐生火帶出了爐灰，我不會操那么多閑心。
我要從從容容聽爺爺講他年輕時候的事情。
我決不會因為夏天頭發(fā)剛剛梳理過、噴過發(fā)膠，就一定要把車窗玻璃搖起來。
我要和孩子們一起坐在草坪上，不擔(dān)心衣服上會染上草漬。
看電視我要少哭一點，少笑一點，看生活我要多哭一點，多笑一點。
我買東西不會只看它很實用，不顯臟，或能保證用一輩子。我不會在盼望中度過9個月妊娠期，我要珍惜每一刻，要意識到體內(nèi)生長的神奇是我今生幫助上帝創(chuàng)造奇跡的惟一機會。
孩子們毛手毛腳地親我，我決不會說：“等等。先去洗手洗臉，準(zhǔn)備吃飯。”我要更多地說“我愛你”……“對不起”……但總的來說，如果再讓我活一回，我要把握好分分秒秒，留心生活，真正關(guān)注生活，品味生活，決不使歲月蹉跎。
不為小事煩心。不擔(dān)心誰不喜歡我，誰比我富有，或者誰在干什么。讓我們珍惜與真心關(guān)愛我們的人之間那份感情。讓我們多想想上帝賜予我們的福分，多想想我們每天做了哪些有益于自己思想、身體、感情和精神的事。
人生短暫，不可虛度。每個人只能活一回，然后生命就消失了。祝愿大家生活幸福。
