The Anniversary of the Founding of Our School

Shanghai＇s Yucai Middle School is a famous and beautiful school with a long history. All those who have studied in it are proud of it.The day after National Day is the anniversary①of the founding of our school. She turned 85 years old this year.
More than one thousand alumni② and alumnae③ came to their old school to celebrate this birthday .
That day, many of the graduates went to their classrooms and found them bright, clean and more beautiful than ever. Some of them had photos with their old teachers taken at the gate of the school.
Since the founding of the People＇s Republic, Mr. Duan Lipei （段力佩）has been the school＇s principal. He has always paid great attention to developing the students＇ ability to study on their own . Now many graduates from Yucai are useful citizens. They are engineers, teachers, scientists, managers and advanced workers . Some of them are working in foreign countries. They work hard in order to win honour for our country.Such a great and beautiful school! I love her very much! I must study harder and harder so that I can win honour for my dear school!
