有趣的英語：莎士比亞的俗語
這個鄉巴佬之所以可笑，是因為他不知道，對于英語，莎士比亞的劇作是不竭的源泉，許多的俗語，成語正是從他的作品中起源的，他的許多篇章句子，在幾百年后的今天，依然具有動人的魅力而被眾口傳誦。
作家邦納(Henry Cuyler Bunner)對此有過一句俏皮話：
“Shakespeare was a dramatist of note who lived by writing things to quote.”
(莎士比亞是個有名的劇作家，靠寫那些讓人家引用的話來過日子。)
