Dear James,
As of April 1 you will have completed your first year at Taiwan Trade as our first full-time non-Taiwanese employee.
I must say this year has really flown by, yet the fact that you settled down to the job so quickly and have already made yourself so invaluable, makes it seem as if you have been with us for much longer!
Thank you very much for all the hard work you put in and for being such a cheerful employee, even at times when I am sure you must feel very tired working in a completely different social and cultural environment. I really do appreciate all the effort you put into your work, and all that remains for me to say is that I hope you will continue to stay with us for a long time in the future. Congratulations again and all the best wishes for the future.
