When I was a little girl, I always wanted to go to college. Now I am a freshman of a key university. I have asked myself the same question so many times：Why I go to college? You may say: you go to college just because you want to have a good job after graduation. Well, why I come to college is not for one single reason, but for many.當(dāng)我還是個(gè)小女孩的時(shí)候，我就一直想要讀大學(xué)。現(xiàn)在，我已經(jīng)是一名重點(diǎn)大學(xué)的新生了。我曾經(jīng)問過我自己同樣的問題很多遍：為什么我要上大學(xué)？你也許會(huì)說：你讀大學(xué)只是為了找一份好工作。我讀大學(xué)只是為了不僅僅是因?yàn)檫@個(gè)原因，還有其他原因。The major reason is that I need to further my education and know more about the outside world. In high school, I was always feeling not enough to get knowledge from the textbooks and I didn't have enough time to travel to see the outside world. But in the college, I have abundant time to read the books I'm interested in and travel to different places to broaden my horizon.讀大學(xué)的主要原因是我需要繼續(xù)深造并更多的了解外面的世界。在高中，我總是感覺是學(xué)習(xí)課本上的知識(shí)遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)不夠，而且我也沒有很多的時(shí)候去旅游。但是在大學(xué)，我擁有足夠多的時(shí)間去閱讀我自己喜歡的書，去不同的地方旅游以此開闊我的眼界。Moreover, college is such an ideal place to make new friends who come from different places and I can learn about the different culture. As I am a typically southerner, I find there are many differences between north and south after I come to college, such as the way they talk, and the food they used to eat. Before I went to college, I admit I never pay attention to these. And I don't want to be a person with a tunnel vision; I want to make more friends during the four years.除此之外，大學(xué)是一個(gè)可以結(jié)交來自五湖四海的朋友的好地方。我還可以了解不同的背景文化。作為一個(gè)典型的南方人，來到大學(xué)之后，我發(fā)現(xiàn)南北之間有很多不同。比如說話的方式、平常喜歡吃的東西。在沒上大學(xué)之前，我可是從來沒有注意到這些。我也不愿意成為目光短淺的人，我要在大學(xué)四年認(rèn)識(shí)更多的朋友。Last but not least, staying the university can give me enough time to prepare when I step into the society, I can do some part-time job and get myself ready. With the working experience and degree, I can find an ideal job. I know it is going to be harder when I graduate from college, but I'm not afraid. I'll spare no efforts to make my dream come true.最后，讀大學(xué)讓我有更多的時(shí)間來為進(jìn)入社會(huì)做準(zhǔn)備。我可以做些兼職為將來做打算。有了工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)和學(xué)位證，我就能找到一份理想的工作。我知道未來的路會(huì)更艱辛，但是我不怕。我會(huì)不予余力的努力實(shí)現(xiàn)我的夢想。I really enjoy the life in college. And I will learn experience and challenge myself in this four year and be a better man.我很享受我的大學(xué)生活。在這大學(xué)的四年中，我會(huì)努力去學(xué)習(xí)、去體驗(yàn)、去挑戰(zhàn)自我，成為一個(gè)更好的人。
