Advantages and Disadvantages of Electronic Dictionary
The discussion about electronic dictionaries has never stopped in the past few yeas. Let's have a look at its advantages and disadvantages before drawing the final conclusion.
關(guān)于電子詞典的討論在過去這些年中從來沒有停止過。在得出最終結(jié)論之前，讓我們看一看它的優(yōu)點(diǎn)與缺點(diǎn)吧!
The biggest advantage of an electronic dictionary is its convenience. With the development of science and technology, electronic dictionaries are becorning more and more advanced: they can pronounce the words clearly, provide sample sentences to illustrate word usage and store difficult words for special memorization.
電子詞典最大的優(yōu)點(diǎn)在于它的便攜性。隨著科學(xué)技術(shù)的發(fā)展，電子詞典正變得越來越先進(jìn):它們能清晰地發(fā)出單詞的聲音，提供例句以解釋單詞的用法，并且將難詞存儲(chǔ)為特殊記憶。
However, the negative effects are also obvious. To begin with, some students rely too much on the electronic dictionary. In the second place, some explanations are neither complete nor accurate, which are quite misleading. Finally, new technical inventions do not necessarily lead to progress in learning. Diligence is always the decisive factor.
然而，電子詞典的負(fù)面影響也很明顯。首先，有些學(xué)生依賴電子詞典太多。其次，一些解釋既不完整也不準(zhǔn)確，這樣很有誤導(dǎo)'性。最后，新技術(shù)發(fā)明不一定能導(dǎo)致學(xué)習(xí)上的進(jìn)步。勤奮一直都是決定性的因素。
