第一部分：仿2011年12月17日四六級寫作
　　之前2011年12月17日的四六級作文，有如下特點：
　　1、全英文給題，無中文提綱
　　2、文章給出一句名人名言或是俗語諺語，對其進行評論
 　　3、文章主題與“人生哲理、優秀品質”相關，不再是以往的校園、學習或社會熱點
　　如果今年2012年6月的四六級作文如果同時滿足以上三條特點，那么以下的5篇練習題的針對性是很強的。
　　學習建議：建議同學們下載打印下面的文本后，同學們先自己寫一遍，寫完后可以參照范文進行比較，看看文章思路、遣詞造句方面有沒有可以改進的地方；然后進行范文背誦，進而默寫范文。
　　3.Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a short essay entitled It Pays to be Modest by commenting on Joseph Addison’s famous remark “Modesty is not only an ornament, but also a guard to virtue.” You should write at least 150 words but no more than 200 words.
　　It Pays to be Modest
　　“Modesty is not only an ornament, but also a guard to virtue.”Joseph Addison once said. Modesty can not only make someone look beautiful and well-mannered, but also serve as a guarantee to one’s excellent character. It is obvious that people tend to lose their fine qualities if they are not modest.
　　Simple as Addison’s remark may sound, it contains abundant life philosophy and informs us of the significance of modesty. why does modesty play an indispensable role in our life ? Modesty can inspire people to achieve greater success. Those who are modest will never be content with their current achievements,  instead, they will work constantly to achieve a higher target. Quite a few examples can be given to prove the importance of modesty, however, I can think of no better illustration than the following one: how could Benjamin Franklin, who was once a printer of humble origins, attain tremendous achievements in so many fields such as science, politics, literature and navigation if he was simply content with small achievements?
　　We should always bear in mind that modesty will prompt us to go farther. Accordingly, at no time should we be satisfied with our small accomplishments, instead , we need to keep an open mind to accept new things, absorb new information, acquire new knowledge and seize new opportunities. “Success consists in industry and modesty.” A philosopher once said.  (229words)
　　“謙虛不僅僅是一個裝飾物，而且是美德的守衛者。”約瑟夫.艾迪生曾經說過。謙虛不僅可以使人看起來美麗、彬彬有禮，同時還是優秀品質的保證。很明顯，一個人如果不在謙虛，他也很可能會失去優秀品質。
　　艾迪生的話也許聽起來簡單，但她卻包含了大量的生活哲理，并且讓我們明白了謙虛的重要性。為什么謙虛在我們的生活中扮演如此重要的角色呢？謙虛可以使人獲得更大的成功。那些謙虛的人永遠都不會滿足于當前的成就，取而代之的是，他們會一直努力地工作，來達成更高的目標。相當多的例子可以用來證明謙虛的重要性，但是除了下面這個例子，我想不到更好的了。曾只是個出身卑微的印刷工本杰明.富蘭克林，如果他只是滿足于小小的成就，他怎么可能后來在科學、政治、文學和航海學等那么多的領域取得巨大的成就呢？
　　我們應該牢記在心，謙虛會讓我們走的更遠。因此，任何時候我們都不能滿足于小小的成就，取而代之的是，我們應該保持一個開放的心態，去接受新事物，吸收新信息，學習新知識并且抓住新機會。“成功在于勤奮和謙虛”一位哲人也曾經說過。
