One day, it was time for lunch. Mr and Ms Whitewere already at the table, but where was Tom theironly son. Mr White decided to go and asked Tom tohave lunch. When he went into Tom's bedroom, hefound Tom reading a book while lying on thestomach on the floor. He told Tom to come to lunchimmediately, so Tom did. Mr White wondered whyTom was so attractted by the book? So he decided tohave a look at the book. Now, it was the turnof Ms White and Tom to wait. After sometime, MsWhite asked son to see what his father was up to. Tom went tohis bedroom. To his greatsurprise, his father was lying on the stomach and reading the book. He is just being reading.Mr. White had forgotten all about for lunch , what is an interesting book.

某天吃中飯時(shí)，懷特夫婦在餐桌上等待著他們的兒子湯姆，但是湯姆去了哪里。懷特先生決定去叫湯姆吃午飯。當(dāng)他進(jìn)到湯姆的房間時(shí)，他發(fā)現(xiàn)湯姆正在倒躺著讀書。他叫湯姆馬上來吃飯，湯姆去了。懷特先生不知道什么書能夠這么吸引湯姆的興趣?他決定看一眼那本書?，F(xiàn)在，華特女士和湯姆正在等待懷特先生吃飯。一會(huì)，懷特女士讓湯姆去問問爸爸正在干嘛。湯姆去了他的臥室。讓他驚訝的是，他的父親也正倒躺著讀書。他正在讀書。懷特先生已經(jīng)忘了吃中飯這回事，多么有趣的書啊。
