2011年雅思寫作中代詞的使用及常見錯誤(1)
先來看兩個學(xué)生作文當(dāng)中出現(xiàn)的句子：
Medical care and education are cornerstones of the society, because it is needed by both youngsters and adults.
Doctors are not able to control themselves'profitable activities.
請注意上面兩句話中標(biāo)記出來的代詞，它們的使用均存在問題，具體是什么問題，我們將在下文中得以解答。
既然中國學(xué)生在英語的代詞使用上是普遍存在錯誤的，在談?wù)撳e誤分類之前，我們先來欣賞一下native speaker的文字中，代詞使用的典范。
例文：
It is rather hard work: there is now no smooth road into the future: but we go round, or scramble over the obstacles. We've got to live, no matter how many skies have fallen.
This was more or less Constance Chatterley's position. The war had brought the roof down over her head. And she had realized that one must live and learn.

翻譯：這是一種頗為艱難的工作。現(xiàn)在沒有一條通向未來的康莊大道，但是我們卻迂回前進，或攀援障礙而過。不管天翻地覆，我們都得生活。
這大概就是康士丹斯?查太萊夫人的處境了。她曾親嘗世界大戰(zhàn)的災(zāi)難，因此她了解了一個人必要生活，必要求知。
以上的一段文字來自于勞倫斯的《查特萊夫人的情人》，被標(biāo)注的地方僅僅是這段文字當(dāng)中幾個代詞使用的范例。當(dāng)然，這是fiction，和我們雅思要求的議論文寫作有很大的出入。那么在雅思的寫作當(dāng)中，我們也不難從考官范文當(dāng)中，找到代詞使用的模范。
Nowadays many adults have full-time jobs and the proportion of their lives spent doing such jobs is very high. So feeling about one's job must reflect how an individual feels about his or her life as a whole, and because of this, job satisfaction is indeed very important for the wellbeing of that person.

以上都是代詞運用得當(dāng)?shù)睦樱窃趯W(xué)生的作文當(dāng)中，卻很難找出代詞運用得精準(zhǔn)的典范，對于代詞把握的失當(dāng)和錯誤是中國學(xué)生的群體性錯誤，當(dāng)然這也關(guān)系到了中英兩種語言使用習(xí)慣上的不同，很多英語代詞使用的問題其實是“母語負遷移”帶來的影響。經(jīng)過研究和訓(xùn)練，是可以得以調(diào)控和解決的。
考慮到代詞在語法和語篇功能上的種種作用，我們有必要把中國學(xué)生常犯的代詞錯誤做一個分類匯總，當(dāng)然在這里我僅僅舉出最主要和常見的代詞錯誤，至于更高級形式的代詞錯誤暫時不在我們雅思寫作的討論范圍之內(nèi)。
