We have three important parts of education reading, writing and mathematics. Some people think every child will benefit from the fourth skill added to the list: computer skills. Do you agree or disagree?

雅思寫作題目講解：

借助這道考題，給大家介紹兩個詞匯，兩個使我受益匪淺的詞匯，一個是“話題萬能論點庫”，另一個叫做“交叉選擇”。它們將成為我們雅思寫作的最大利器。今天我們就借助這兩個概念來擊破這道雅思寫作題目，同時攻破浩如煙海的一系列相關雅思寫作題目。

第一個詞條，需要我們做以下三個步驟：

1)將雅思考題(比如08到10年)按照話題進行分類。

2)確定每一類話題當中使用頻率最高，實用性最強的論點。

3)將論點按照“正面”和“負面”進行分類。

首先，讓我們來做一個話題判定。關鍵詞：education--教育類computer skills--科技類。由此可知，為教育類以及科技類相結合的話題，第二個關鍵詞的作用就體現出來了，我們需要將這兩類話題的萬能論點庫進行一個“交叉選擇”，也就是將教育類和科技類合適的論點進行綜合。

以下為我在辛辛苦苦寫了雅思寫作考試近四年所有考試雅思寫作題目之后總結出來的教育類以及科技類的萬能論點中的一部分：

Education

Positive：

開拓眼界：expand one's horizon

適應社會：adapt to the society

增加職業競爭力：boost one's competitiveness

營造良好的校園環境：create a favorable school environment

激發學習熱情：generate an enthusiasm to learn

緩解壓力：relieve stress

Negative：

增加負擔：add a heavy burden

可以課下學：engage in …spontaneously

扼殺學習熱情：stifle one's thirst for knowledge

抑制創造力發展：hamper development of creativity

Technology

Positive：

提高效率：enhance efficiency

提高生產率：increase productivity

節省時間：time-saving

以指代步：let our fingers do the walking

減少奔波：release people from lengthy commutes

擴大社交圈：expand one's social circles

使人們更加獨立：make a transition from interdependence to independence

隨時隨地保持聯系：keep in touch with others much more easily than generations ago

Negative：

導致失業：make people redundant

導致社會隔離感和冷漠感：lead to social isolation and indifference

加快生活節奏：quicken the pace of life

使得工作和生活界限模糊：boundary between work and study is blurred

現在讓我們來做一個交叉選擇。在兩個話題萬能論點庫中，發現以下幾條適合本題：

Positive：

1) 掌握計算機技術可以使我們更好地適應現代社會要求(教育類positive第二條)

2) 掌握計算機技術可以提高職業競爭力(教育類positive第三條)

3)可以提高學習效率(科技類positive第一條)

Negative：

不一定要成為學校正規課程計劃的一部分。由于電腦和網絡的普及，計算機技術完全可以在課下學習。(教育類negative第二條)

讓我們來試驗一下教育類和科技類的其他的雅思寫作題目吧，看看我們的萬能論點庫是否神奇。你會發現，這兩類雅思寫作題目中的90%都可以用我們之前談到過的論點進行解決。

大家可以發現，教育類和科技類話題幾乎都可以用相同的論點進行解決。有了萬能論點庫，在考場上幾乎不用當場思考，直接調用已經準備好的觀點即可，因為它們是如此的萬能實用性如此之強。舉個例子，教育類話題只要提前準備好了十個萬能論點，上考場只要是碰到教育類話題，你都沒問題，都可以從這十句話中挑選出合適的論點來組織文章。

雅思寫作范文：

Twelve years into the new millennium, individuals have witnessed the universal utilization of computer in the fields of culture, science, military and so forth. When it comes to the education frontier, computer-related skills as well as their diversified applications，to a large extent，have facilitated students and schools throughout the world. However, whether computer skills should be enlisted in our curriculum, as a forth compulsory component, has sparked heated discussion recently. From my viewpoint, computer skills are important but not necessary in terms of public education.

在新千年的12年里，個人見證了計算機在文化、科學、軍事等領域的普遍應用。當談到教育前沿計算機相關技能以及他們多樣化的應用程序,在很大程度上,全世界有促進學生和學校。然而，在我們的課程中，是否應該把計算機技能作為一種強制的組成部分，最近引發了熱烈的討論。從我的觀點來看，計算機技能是很重要的，但在公共教育方面是沒有必要的。

Admittedly, youngsters would , for certain, gain more popularity in the future job market provided that computer techniques are offered in schools, since computerized products and technologies have penetrated virtually every aspect of every industry. In addition, acquiring the essential knowledge regarding computer or even the internet could, to some degree, help children improve the efficiency and quality of their school learning, which tend to be onerous and monotonous based on the current education system.

誠然，如果計算機技術在學校里提供，那么在未來的就業市場中，年輕人一定會更加受歡迎，因為計算機化的產品和技術已經滲透到各個行業的各個方面。此外，在某種程度上，獲取計算機甚至網絡的基本知識，可以幫助孩子提高他們學校學習的效率和質量，而這在當前的教育體系中往往是繁重而單調的。

On the other hand, it seems pointless to add computer skills into the schooling list just like the other three, namely reading, writing and math. Firstly, the burden of students nowadays is fairly considerable. Adding a forth compulsory subject would undoubtedly frustrate and exhaust them, or even undermine their passion for studying all together. On top of that, computer skills, along with the widespread of personal computers in common household, can be gained in various means besides educational institution. It has been a quite common phenomenon that a major group of adolescents learned how to type by chatting online, how to save files by downloading the very first movie, and how to maintain operation system by installing anti-virus software.

另一方面，把計算機技能添加到學校的學習列表中，就像其他三種，即閱讀、寫作和數學一樣，似乎毫無意義。首先，現在學生的負擔相當可觀。毫無疑問，增加一門必修課無疑會讓他們沮喪，甚至會破壞他們對一起學習的熱情。除此之外，除了教育機構之外，計算機技能和普通家庭中的個人電腦也可以通過多種方式獲得。這是一個相當普遍的現象，一個主要的青少年群體通過在線聊天學習如何打字，如何通過下載第一部電影來保存文件，以及如何通過安裝防病毒軟件來維護操作系統。

Considering all the factors above, I personally reach the conclusion that computer skill should not be added into the current school disciplines, even though it is, indisputably, an essential technique to survive in the modern society.

考慮到以上所有因素，我個人認為計算機技能不應被添加進當前的學校規程中，盡管它無疑是在現代社會中生存的必要技術。
