Laptop -A Necessity for College Students?
筆記本電腦是大學必需品嗎?
In recent years, more and more students at collegeand universities are using laptops.Still more studentsare asking their parents for one. However, is it anecessity for their study? I don’t think so.
仍然有許多學生向父母索要電腦。近些年，越來越多的大學生使用筆記本電腦。但是，電腦真的是學習必需品嗎?我不這么認為。
On the one hand, it is safe to say that a laptop is of great help to some students’study. This isespecially true so far as the hard working students are concerned. With the enrollment evergrowing at colleges and universities, the school resourcesavailable to the students are quitelimited.In this case, having a laptop is no doubt convenient for their study. With a laptop,they can get access to the Internet, searchingfor academic information, learning foreignlanguages and working on their graduate papers. As for these students, one can even assumethat they can equally do well in their study without a laptop.
特別是對那些學習刻苦的孩子來說。一方面，筆記本對學生有巨大的幫助。大學招收學生的數量正在日益增多，但是，師資力量卻是有限的。從這一方面說，筆記本電腦無疑對學生的學習有幫助。這樣，他們就可以隨時隨地上網，查詢各種學習信息，學習外語，寫論文。對于一些學生來說，沒有筆記本的學生學習也非常好。
On the other hand, there are a lot of students whose laptops are used in quite a different way.Some use it to play computer games and watch movies on the Internet, and still others evenuse it to gamble. Insteadof helping them with their study, the laptops are a waste of moneyand time. To these students, a laptop is a luxury. It spoils them rather than benefits them.
另一方面，許多學生把電腦運用到了其他地方。許多學生拿筆記本玩游戲，或是上網看電影，有些人甚至拿筆記本來賭博。他們用電腦不是用來學習，電腦對于他們來說是一種浪費金錢和時間。對于這些學生來說，筆記本是奢侈品。電腦將影響他們，而不是幫助他們。
In conclusion, we can say that for some students, a laptop is of some help to their studyrather than a necessity, while for others it is absolutely unnecessary.
電腦能夠幫助他們學習，但卻不是必需品，總結，對于許多學生而言，但是對于有些學生來說，他們不需要電腦。
