Nowadays science and technology is developing sorapidly that people can hardly catch up with its pace.While some people are enjoying whatever moderntechnology has brought us, there are others whostand againstit.
現(xiàn)代科學(xué)與技術(shù)正在迅猛發(fā)展著，人們很難跟上它的腳步。許多人享受著現(xiàn)代技術(shù)給予我們的一切，但是還有些人對(duì)它進(jìn)行了抵制。
As for me, modern technology surely has both its advantages and disadvantages,but generallyspeaking, it has brought us more benefits than drawbacks.Firstly, there is no denying the factthat modern technology has made life more convenient and more comfortable. The mostobvious example should be the worldwide applied modern technology-the Internet. It providesus with a fast and convenient way of communication, obtaining information andentertainment, which was previously unimaginable. Secondly, with new technology, we can dowork more efficiently. The computer and other technological devices can save our time andenergy. Thirdly, new technological innovations in medicine in recent years have greatly reducedthe rate of infant mortality and prolonged our life expectancy. Finally, some people criticizethat new technology has taken awayjobs from people since machines have taken place ofhuman labor, but we should also realize that new jobs are coming up because of newtechnology.
對(duì)于我來(lái)說(shuō)，現(xiàn)代技術(shù)有好處也有壞處，但是總體來(lái)講，好處大于壞處。第一，毋庸置疑，現(xiàn)代技術(shù)讓生活變得更加便利，更加舒適。最明顯的例子就是互聯(lián)網(wǎng)的應(yīng)用。它給予我們便捷的交流方式，改變了我們獲取信息以及娛樂(lè)的方式，這在之前是無(wú)法想象的。第二，擁有了新的技術(shù)，我們的工作將更加高效。電腦和其他技術(shù)設(shè)備節(jié)約了我們的時(shí)間和能量。第三，最近幾年，醫(yī)學(xué)領(lǐng)域的新技術(shù)大大降低了嬰兒死亡率，并延長(zhǎng)了人的壽命。最后，許多人批評(píng)說(shuō)新技術(shù)讓許多人失去了工作，因?yàn)闄C(jī)器代替了人類勞動(dòng)，但是，我們應(yīng)該認(rèn)識(shí)到由于新技術(shù)的發(fā)展，又出現(xiàn)了更多的新工作。
All in all, everything has its advantages and disadvantages, and modern technology is noexception. But the most powerful aspect of technology lies in its unbounded potential tosolve the problems that come alongside its well-intended purposes. In my point of view,modern technology is improving our life rather than degrading it.
總結(jié)，所有事情都有兩面，新技術(shù)也不例外。但是，新技術(shù)最有利的一面就在于它能夠解決無(wú)限的問(wèn)題，前提是它的出發(fā)點(diǎn)是好的。我認(rèn)為，現(xiàn)代技術(shù)正在改變著人們的生活，而不是使其變得更糟。
