　　Among countless factors which influence my viewpoints，there are three conspicuous aspectsas follows.In the first place，short vacations set the students free from the burdensomestudy every now and then，whichis beneficial for both of their physical and mentalhealth.During the school life，rest is necessary.Appropriate relaxation refreshes studentsand gives them enough motivation and energy to continue learning.As the saying goes，allwork and no play makes Jack a dull boy.But the rest should be reasonable.A long vacationwill do harm to the condition of the students，and too much free time will make studentsbecome lazy，instead of helping them.In the second place，having short vacations is to theadvantage of the study continuity.We all know that study is the most important task for thestudents.If students have a long vacation，they will leave school， which is the best studyenvironment，for a too long time Owing to their limited self-educated ability andknowledge，most students cannot study systematically orregularly.

　　影響觀點(diǎn)的因素很多，總共有三點(diǎn)原因。首先，短假期會(huì)讓學(xué)生減輕學(xué)習(xí)的壓力，這對(duì)他們的身心健康都是有益的。對(duì)于在學(xué)校生活，休息是必不可少的。適當(dāng)?shù)男菹⒛軌蜃寣W(xué)生得到放松，并給予他們足夠的動(dòng)力繼續(xù)學(xué)習(xí)。就像老話所說(shuō)，只學(xué)不玩，聰明的人也會(huì)變傻。但是，休息也是有度的。長(zhǎng)假期對(duì)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)狀態(tài)不利，太多的空閑時(shí)間會(huì)讓學(xué)生變得懶惰，這反而會(huì)害了他們。第二，短假期對(duì)繼續(xù)學(xué)習(xí)有利。我們都知道學(xué)習(xí)是學(xué)生最重要的任務(wù)。如果學(xué)生獲得了長(zhǎng)假期，他們就將離開(kāi)學(xué)校，學(xué)校是學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的最好場(chǎng)所，這樣，他們將遠(yuǎn)離學(xué)校很長(zhǎng)時(shí)間。由于他們有限的自學(xué)能力，絕大部分的學(xué)生不能夠系統(tǒng)，或是有規(guī)律的進(jìn)行學(xué)習(xí)。

　　At last they may not study well，and even forget what they have learned in the previousperiod，while short vacations will not influence the teaching arrangement.What’s more，shortvacations will allow the students to review and summarize the knowledge on theirown.Students learn new knowledge at school， andthey need their own time to think over andunderstand it truly.At school the teachers have their teaching plans，and will not stop to waitfor a particular student.So the short vacations should be made good use of.They areopportunities for the students to review and learn by themselves.

　　至少，他們不會(huì)學(xué)習(xí)出色，甚至?xí)z忘他們之前所學(xué)習(xí)的知識(shí)，然而，短期假期也不會(huì)影響老師的教學(xué)計(jì)劃。更重要的是，短假期將會(huì)提供給學(xué)生復(fù)習(xí)，并自己總結(jié)知識(shí)的時(shí)間。學(xué)生要在校學(xué)習(xí)新知識(shí)，他們也需要自己來(lái)真正思考知識(shí)。在學(xué)校，老師有自己的教學(xué)計(jì)劃，老師并不會(huì)因?yàn)槟硞€(gè)學(xué)生而改變。所以，學(xué)生應(yīng)該好好利用短假期。短假期是學(xué)生自己復(fù)習(xí)的很好機(jī)會(huì)。

　　To sum up，students should have several short vacations throughout the year instead ofhaving a long vacation each year.From the perspective of the students’physical and mentalhealth，study continuity and self-learning，we can see that short vacations will help studentsto learn better.
