The Most Caring Child

Author and lecturer Leo Buscaglia once talked about a contest he was asked to judge. The purpose of the contest was to find the most caring child. The winner was a four-year-old child whose next-door neighbor was an elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife. Upon seeing the man cry， the little boy went into the old gentleman's yard， climbed onto his lap and just sat there. When his mother asked him what he had said to the neighbor， the little boy said，“Nothing， I just helped hin cry.”
作家兼演講家李奧?巴斯凱吉理有一次談起他曾應邀當評委的一次競賽。競賽的目的是要選出最富有同情心的孩子。獲勝者是一個4歲的孩子。這孩子的隔壁鄰居是位老人，老伴剛剛去世。一看到他哭，這個小孩就走進老人的院子，爬到他的膝上，就坐在那兒。當母親問兒子對鄰居說了些什么時，這小男孩說：“什么也沒有說，我只是陪著他哭?！?/p>
