Fire and Ice
Some say the world will end in fire，
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire，
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice，
I think I know enough of hate
To know that for destruction ice
Is also great
and would suffice……
火與冰
有人說世界將結束于熊熊烈焰，
有人則說結束于凜凜寒冰。
欲望如火，體會其烈，
則知世之歸于火為我所愿。
但若其必兩度遭逢毀滅，
我知恨之極至，
必然明了，毀滅之冰，
同樣魁偉，
同樣順人心意。
