20：1 拿瑪人瑣法回答說，Then answered Zophar the Naamathite， and said，

　　20：2 我心中急躁，所以我的思念叫我回答。

　　Therefore do my thoughts cause me to answer， and for this I make haste.

　　20：3 我已聽見那羞辱我，責(zé)備我的話。我的悟性叫我回答。

　　I have heard the check of my reproach， and the spirit of my understanding causeth me to answer.

　　20：4 你豈不知亙古以來，自從人生在地。

　　Knowest thou not this of old， since man was placed upon earth，

　　20：5 惡人夸勝是暫時的，不敬虔人的喜樂，不過轉(zhuǎn)眼之間嗎。

　　That the triumphing of the wicked is short， and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment？

　　20：6 他的尊榮雖達到天上，頭雖頂?shù)皆浦校琓hough his excellency mount up to the heavens， and his head reach unto the clouds；

　　20：7 他終必滅亡，像自己的糞一樣。素來見他的人要說，他在那里呢。

　　Yet he shall perish for ever like his own dung： they which have seen him shall say， Where is he？

　　20：8 他必飛去如夢，不再尋見，速被趕去，如夜間的異象。

　　He shall fly away as a dream， and shall not be found： yea， he shall be chased away as a vision of the night.

　　20：9 親眼見過他的，必不再見他。他的本處也再見不著他。

　　The eye also which saw him shall see him no more； neither shall his place any more behold him.

　　20：10 他的兒女要求窮人的恩。他的手要賠還不義之財。

　　His children shall seek to please the poor， and his hands shall restore their goods.

　　20：11 他的骨頭雖然有青年之力，卻要和他一同躺臥在塵土中。

　　His bones are full of the sin of his youth， which shall lie down with him in the dust.

　　20：12 他口內(nèi)雖以惡為甘甜，藏在舌頭底下。

　　Though wickedness be sweet in his mouth， though he hide it under his tongue；

　　20：13 愛戀不舍，含在口中。

　　Though he spare it， and forsake it not； but keep it still within his mouth：

　　20：14 他的食物在肚里卻要化為酸，在他里面成為虺蛇的惡毒。

　　Yet his meat in his bowels is turned， it is the gall of asps within him.

　　20：15 他吞了財寶，還要吐出。神要從他腹中掏出來。

　　He hath swallowed down riches， and he shall vomit them up again： God shall cast them out of his belly.

　　20：16 他必吸飲虺蛇的毒氣。蝮蛇的舌頭也必殺他。

　　He shall suck the poison of asps： the viper's tongue shall slay him.

　　20：17 流奶與蜜之河，他不得再見。

　　He shall not see the rivers， the floods， the brooks of honey and butter.

　　20：18 他勞碌得來的要賠還，不得享用（原文作吞下），不能照所得的財貨歡樂。

　　That which he laboured for shall he restore， and shall not swallow it down： according to his substance shall the restitution be， and he shall not rejoice therein.

　　20：19 他欺壓窮人，且又離棄。強取非自己所蓋的房屋（或作強取房屋不得再建造）。

　　Because he hath oppressed and hath forsaken the poor； because he hath violently taken away an house which he builded not；

　　20：20 他因貪而無厭，所喜悅的連一樣也不能保守。

　　Surely he shall not feel quietness in his belly， he shall not save of that which he desired.

　　20：21 其馀的沒有一樣他不吞滅，所以他的福樂不能長久。

　　There shall none of his meat be left； therefore shall no man look for his goods.

　　20：22 他在滿足有馀的時候，必到狹窄的地步。凡受苦楚的人，都必加手在他身上。

　　In the fulness of his sufficiency he shall be in straits： every hand of the wicked shall come upon him.

　　20：23 他正要充滿肚腹的時候，神必將猛烈的忿怒，降在他身上。正在他吃飯的時候，要將這忿怒像雨降在他身上。

　　When he is about to fill his belly， God shall cast the fury of his wrath upon him， and shall rain it upon him while he is eating.

　　20：24 他要躲避鐵器。銅弓的箭要將他射透。

　　He shall flee from the iron weapon， and the bow of steel shall strike him through.

　　20：25 他把箭一抽，就從他身上出來。發(fā)光的箭頭從他膽中出來，有驚惶臨在他身上。

　　It is drawn， and cometh out of the body； yea， the glittering sword cometh out of his gall： terrors are upon him.

　　20：26 他的財寶歸于黑暗。人所不吹的火要把他燒滅，要把他帳棚中所剩下的燒毀。

　　All darkness shall be hid in his secret places： a fire not blown shall consume him； it shall go ill with him that is left in his tabernacle.

　　20：27 天要顯明他的罪孽，地要興起攻擊他。

　　The heaven shall reveal his iniquity； and the earth shall rise up against him.

　　20：28 他的家產(chǎn)必然過去。神發(fā)怒的日子，他的貨物都要消滅。

　　The increase of his house shall depart， and his goods shall flow away in the day of his wrath.

　　20：29 這是惡人從神所得的分，是神為他所定的產(chǎn)業(yè)。

　　This is the portion of a wicked man from God， and the heritage appointed unto him by God.
