舊約 -- 何西阿書(Hosea) -- 第14章
14：1 以色列阿，你要歸向耶和華你的神。你是因自己的罪孽跌倒了。
O Israel， return unto the LORD thy God； for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity.
14：2 當歸向耶和華，用言語禱告他說，求你除凈罪孽，悅納善行，這樣。我們就把嘴唇的祭，代替牛犢獻上。
Take with you words， and turn to the LORD： say unto him， Take away all iniquity， and receive us graciously： so will we render the calves of our lips.
14：3 我們不向亞述求救。不騎埃及的馬。也不再對我們手所造的說，你是我們的神。因為孤兒在你耶和華那里得蒙憐憫。
Asshur shall not save us； we will not ride upon horses： neither will we say any more to the work of our hands， Ye are our gods： for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy.
14：4 我必醫治他們背道的病，甘心愛他們，因為我的怒氣向他們轉消。
I will heal their backsliding， I will love them freely： for mine anger is turned away from him.
14：5 我必向以色列如甘露，他必如百合花開放，如黎巴嫩的樹木扎根。
I will be as the dew unto Israel： he shall grow as the lily， and cast forth his roots as Lebanon.
14：6 他的枝條必延長，他的榮華如橄欖樹，他的香氣如黎巴嫩的香柏樹。
His branches shall spread， and his beauty shall be as the olive tree， and his smell as Lebanon.
14：7 曾住在他蔭下的必歸回，發旺如五谷。開花如葡萄樹。他的香氣如黎巴嫩的酒。
They that dwell under his shadow shall return； they shall revive as the corn， and grow as the vine： the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon.
14：8 以法蓮必說，我與偶像還有什么關涉呢。我耶和華回答他，也必顧念他。我如青翠的松樹，你的果子從我而得。
Ephraim shall say， What have I to do any more with idols？ I have heard him， and observed him： I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found.
14：9 誰是智慧人，可以明白這些事，誰是通達人，可以知道這一切。因為，耶和華的道是正直的，義人必在其中行走，罪人卻在其上跌倒。
Who is wise， and he shall understand these things？ prudent， and he shall know them？ for the ways of the LORD are right， and the just shall walk in them： but the transgressors shall fall therein.
