5：1 以色列家阿，要聽我為你們所作的哀歌。

　　Hear ye this word which I take up against you， even a lamentation， O house of Israel.

　　5：2 以色列民（原文是處女）跌倒，不得再起，躺在地上，無人攙扶。

　　The virgin of Israel is fallen； she shall no more rise： she is forsaken upon her land； there is none to raise her up.

　　5：3 主耶和華如此說，以色列家的城，發(fā)出一千兵的，只剩一百，發(fā)出一百的，只剩十個(gè)。

　　For thus saith the Lord GOD； The city that went out by a thousand shall leave an hundred， and that which went forth by an hundred shall leave ten， to the house of Israel.

　　5：4 耶和華向以色列家如此說，你們要尋求我，就必存活。

　　For thus saith the LORD unto the house of Israel， Seek ye me， and ye shall live：

　　5：5 不要往伯特利尋求，不要進(jìn)入吉甲，不要過到別是巴。因?yàn)榧妆乇粨锫樱乩脖貧w于無有。

　　But seek not Bethel， nor enter into Gilgal， and pass not to Beersheba： for Gilgal shall surely go into captivity， and Bethel shall come to nought.

　　5：6 要尋求耶和華，就必存活。免得他在約瑟家像火發(fā)出，在伯特利焚燒，無人撲滅。

　　Seek the LORD， and ye shall live； lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph， and devour it， and there be none to quench it in Bethel.

　　5：7 你們這使公平變?yōu)橐穑浚浚瑢⒐x丟棄于地的，Ye who turn judgment to wormwood， and leave off righteousness in the earth，

　　5：8 要尋求那造昴星和叁星，使死蔭變?yōu)槌抗猓拱兹兆優(yōu)楹谝梗Ｋ畞頋苍诘厣系模ㄒ腿A是他的名）

　　Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion， and turneth the shadow of death into the morning， and maketh the day dark with night： that calleth for the waters of the sea， and poureth them out upon the face of the earth： The LORD is his name：

　　5：9 他使力強(qiáng)的忽遭滅亡，以致保障遭遇毀壞。

　　That strengtheneth the spoiled against the strong， so that the spoiled shall come against the fortress.

　　5：10 你們?cè)购弈窃诔情T口責(zé)備人的，憎惡那說正直話的。

　　They hate him that rebuketh in the gate， and they abhor him that speaketh uprightly.

　　5：11 你們踐踏貧民，向他們勒索麥子。你們用鑿過的石頭建造房屋，卻不得住在其內(nèi)，栽種美好的葡萄園，卻不得喝所出的酒。

　　Forasmuch therefore as your treading is upon the poor， and ye take from him burdens of wheat： ye have built houses of hewn stone， but ye shall not dwell in them； ye have planted pleasant vineyards， but ye shall not drink wine of them.

　　5：12 我知道你們的罪過何等多，你們的罪惡何等大。你們苦待義人，收受賄賂，在城門口屈枉窮乏人。

　　For I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins： they afflict the just， they take a bribe， and they turn aside the poor in the gate from their right.

　　5：13 所以通達(dá)人見這樣的時(shí)勢(shì)，必靜默不言。因?yàn)闀r(shí)勢(shì)真惡。

　　Therefore the prudent shall keep silence in that time； for it is an evil time.

　　5：14 你們要求善，不要求惡，就必存活。這樣，耶和華萬(wàn)軍之神，必照你們所說的，與你們同在。

　　Seek good， and not evil， that ye may live： and so the LORD， the God of hosts， shall be with you， as ye have spoken.

　　5：15 要惡惡好善，在城門口秉公行義。或者耶和華萬(wàn)軍之神，向約瑟的馀民施恩。

　　Hate the evil， and love the good， and establish judgment in the gate： it may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.

　　5：16 主耶和華萬(wàn)軍之神如此說，在一切寬闊處必有哀號(hào)的聲音。在各街市上必有人說，哀哉，哀哉。又必叫農(nóng)夫來哭號(hào)，叫善唱哀歌的來舉哀。

　　Therefore the LORD， the God of hosts， the LORD， saith thus； Wailing shall be in all streets； and they shall say in all the highways， Alas！ alas！ and they shall call the husbandman to mourning， and such as are skilful of lamentation to wailing.

　　5：17 在各葡萄園，必有哀號(hào)的聲音。因?yàn)槲冶貜哪阒虚g經(jīng)過。這是耶和華說的。

　　And in all vineyards shall be wailing： for I will pass through thee， saith the LORD.

　　5：18 想望耶和華日子來到的有禍了。你們?yōu)楹蜗胪腿A的日子呢。那日黑暗沒有光明，Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD！ to what end is it for you？ the day of the LORD is darkness， and not light.

　　5：19 景況好像人躲避獅子又遇見熊。或是進(jìn)房屋以手靠墻，就被蛇咬。

　　As if a man did flee from a lion， and a bear met him； or went into the house， and leaned his hand on the wall， and a serpent bit him.

　　5：20 耶和華的日子，不是黑暗沒有光明嗎。不是幽暗毫無光輝嗎。

　　Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness， and not light？ even very dark， and no brightness in it？

　　5：21 我厭惡你們的節(jié)期，也不喜悅你們的嚴(yán)肅會(huì)。

　　I hate， I despise your feast days， and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies.

　　5：22 你們雖然向我獻(xiàn)燔祭，和素祭，我卻不悅納。也不顧你們用肥畜獻(xiàn)的平安祭。

　　Though ye offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings， I will not accept them： neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts.

　　5：23 要使你們歌唱的聲音遠(yuǎn)離我。因?yàn)槲也宦犇銈儚椙俚捻懧暋?/p>

　　Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs； for I will not hear the melody of thy viols.

　　5：24 惟愿公平如大水滾滾，使公義如江河滔滔。

　　But let judgment run down as waters， and righteousness as a mighty stream.

　　5：25 以色列家阿，你們?cè)跁缫八氖辏M是將祭物和供物獻(xiàn)給我呢。

　　Have ye offered unto me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years， O house of Israel？

　　5：26 你們抬著為自己所造之摩洛的帳幕，和偶像的龕，并你們的神星。

　　But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images， the star of your god， which ye made to yourselves.

　　5：27 所以我要把你們擄到大馬士革以外。這是耶和華，名為萬(wàn)軍之神說的。

　　Therefore will I cause you to go into captivity beyond Damascus， saith the LORD， whose name is The God of hosts.
