4：1 耶穌又在海邊教訓(xùn)人。有許多人到他那里聚集，他只得上船坐下。船在海里，眾人都靠近海站在岸上。

　　And he began again to teach by the sea side： and there was gathered unto him a great multitude， so that he entered into a ship， and sat in the sea； and the whole multitude was by the sea on the land.

　　4：2 耶穌就用比喻教訓(xùn)他們?cè)S多道理。在教訓(xùn)之間，對(duì)他們說(shuō)，And he taught them many things by parables， and said unto them in his doctrine，

　　4：3 你們聽(tīng)阿。有一個(gè)撒種的。出去撒種。

　　Hearken； Behold， there went out a sower to sow：

　　4：4 撒的時(shí)候，有落在路旁的，飛鳥(niǎo)來(lái)吃盡了。

　　And it came to pass， as he sowed， some fell by the way side， and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up.

　　4：5 有落在土淺石頭地上的，土既不深，發(fā)苗最快。

　　And some fell on stony ground， where it had not much earth； and immediately it sprang up， because it had no depth of earth：

　　4：6 日頭出來(lái)一曬，因?yàn)闆](méi)有根，就枯乾了。

　　But when the sun was up， it was scorched； and because it had no root， it withered away.

　　4：7 有落在荊棘里的，荊棘長(zhǎng)起來(lái)，把他擠住了，就不結(jié)實(shí)。

　　And some fell among thorns， and the thorns grew up， and choked it， and it yielded no fruit.

　　4：8 又有落在好土里的，就發(fā)生長(zhǎng)大，結(jié)實(shí)有三十倍的，有六十倍的，有一百倍的。

　　And other fell on good ground， and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased； and brought forth， some thirty， and some sixty， and some an hundred.

　　4：9 又說(shuō)，有耳可聽(tīng)的，就應(yīng)當(dāng)聽(tīng)。

　　And he said unto them， He that hath ears to hear， let him hear.

　　4：10 無(wú)人的時(shí)候，跟隨耶穌的人，和十二個(gè)門(mén)徒，問(wèn)他這比喻的意思。

　　And when he was alone， they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable.

　　4：11 耶穌對(duì)他們說(shuō)，神國(guó)的奧秘，只叫你們知道，若是對(duì)外人講，凡事就用比喻。

　　And he said unto them， Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God： but unto them that are without， all these things are done in parables：

　　4：12 叫他們看是看見(jiàn)，卻不曉得。聽(tīng)是聽(tīng)見(jiàn)，卻不明白?？峙滤麄兓剞D(zhuǎn)過(guò)來(lái)，就得赦免。

　　That seeing they may see， and not perceive； and hearing they may hear， and not understand； lest at any time they should be converted， and their sins should be forgiven them.

　　4：13 又對(duì)他們說(shuō)，你們不明白這比喻嗎。這樣怎能明白一切的比喻呢。

　　And he said unto them， Know ye not this parable？ and how then will ye know all parables？

　　4：14 撒種之人所撒的，就是道。

　　The sower soweth the word.

　　4：15 那撒在路旁的，就是人聽(tīng)了道，撒但立刻來(lái)，把撒在他心里的道奪了去。

　　And these are they by the way side， where the word is sown； but when they have heard， Satan cometh immediately， and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.

　　4：16 那撒在石頭地上的，就是人聽(tīng)了道，立刻歡喜領(lǐng)受。

　　And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground； who， when they have heard the word， immediately receive it with gladness；

　　4：17 但他心里沒(méi)有根，不過(guò)是暫時(shí)的，及至為道遭了患難，或是受了逼迫，立刻就跌倒了。

　　And have no root in themselves， and so endure but for a time： afterward， when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake， immediately they are offended.

　　4：18 還有那撒在荊棘里的，就是人聽(tīng)了道。

　　And these are they which are sown among thorns； such as hear the word，

　　4：19 后來(lái)有世上的思慮，錢(qián)財(cái)?shù)拿曰?，和別樣的私欲，進(jìn)來(lái)把道擠住了，就不能結(jié)實(shí)。

　　And the cares of this world， and the deceitfulness of riches， and the lusts of other things entering in， choke the word， and it becometh unfruitful.

　　4：20 那撒在好地上的，就是人聽(tīng)道，又領(lǐng)受，并且結(jié)實(shí)，有三十倍的，有六十倍的，有一百倍的。

　　And these are they which are sown on good ground； such as hear the word， and receive it， and bring forth fruit， some thirtyfold， some sixty， and some an hundred.

　　4：21 耶穌又對(duì)他們說(shuō)，人拿燈來(lái)，豈是放在斗底下，床底下，不放在燈臺(tái)上嗎。

　　And he said unto them， Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel， or under a bed？ and not to be set on a candlestick？

　　4：22 因?yàn)檠诓氐氖拢瑳](méi)有不顯出來(lái)的。隱瞞的事，沒(méi)有不露出來(lái)的。

　　For there is nothing hid， which shall not be manifested； neither was any thing kept secret， but that it should come abroad.

　　4：23 有耳可聽(tīng)的，就應(yīng)當(dāng)聽(tīng)。

　　If any man have ears to hear， let him hear.

　　4：24 又說(shuō)你們所聽(tīng)的要留心。你們用什么量器量給人，也必用什么量器量給你們，并且要多給你們。

　　And he said unto them， Take heed what ye hear： with what measure ye mete， it shall be measured to you： and unto you that hear shall more be given.

　　4：25 因?yàn)橛械倪€要給他。沒(méi)有的，連他所有的也要奪去。

　　For he that hath， to him shall be given： and he that hath not， from him shall be taken even that which he hath.

　　4：26 又說(shuō)，神的國(guó)，如同人把種撒在地上，And he said， So is the kingdom of God， as if a man should cast seed into the ground；

　　4：27 黑夜睡覺(jué)，白日起來(lái)，這種就發(fā)芽漸長(zhǎng)，那人卻不曉得如何這樣。

　　And should sleep， and rise night and day， and the seed should spring and grow up， he knoweth not how.

　　4：28 地生五谷，是出于自然的。先發(fā)苗，后長(zhǎng)穗，再后穗上結(jié)成飽滿的子粒。

　　For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself； first the blade， then the ear， after that the full corn in the ear.

　　4：29 谷既熟了，就用鐮刀去割，因?yàn)槭粘傻臅r(shí)候到了。

　　But when the fruit is brought forth， immediately he putteth in the sickle， because the harvest is come.

　　4：30 又說(shuō)，神的國(guó)，我們可用什么比較呢?？捎檬裁幢扔鞅砻髂?。

　　And he said， Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God？ or with what comparison shall we compare it？

　　4：31 好像一粒芥菜種，種在地里的時(shí)候，雖比地上的百種都小，It is like a grain of mustard seed， which， when it is sown in the earth， is less than all the seeds that be in the earth：

　　4：32 但種上以后，就長(zhǎng)起來(lái)，比各樣的菜都大，又長(zhǎng)出大枝來(lái)。甚至天上的飛鳥(niǎo)，可以宿在他的蔭下。

　　But when it is sown， it groweth up， and becometh greater than all herbs， and shooteth out great branches； so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.

　　4：33 耶穌用許多這樣的比喻，照他們所能聽(tīng)的，對(duì)他們講道。

　　And with many such parables spake he the word unto them， as they were able to hear it.

　　4：34 若不用比喻，就不對(duì)他們講。沒(méi)有人的時(shí)候，就把一切的道講給門(mén)徒聽(tīng)。

　　But without a parable spake he not unto them： and when they were alone， he expounded all things to his disciples.

　　4：35 當(dāng)那天晚上，耶穌對(duì)門(mén)徒說(shuō)，我們渡到那邊去吧。

　　And the same day， when the even was come， he saith unto them， Let us pass over unto the other side.

　　4：36 門(mén)徒離開(kāi)眾人，耶穌仍在船上，他們就把他一同帶去。也有別的船和他同行。

　　And when they had sent away the multitude， they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.

　　4：37 忽然起了暴風(fēng)，波浪打入船內(nèi)，甚至船要滿了水。

　　And there arose a great storm of wind， and the waves beat into the ship， so that it was now full.

　　4：38 耶穌在船尾上，枕著枕頭睡覺(jué)。門(mén)徒叫醒了他，說(shuō)，夫子，我們喪命，你不顧嗎。

　　And he was in the hinder part of the ship， asleep on a pillow： and they awake him， and say unto him， Master， carest thou not that we perish？

　　4：39 耶穌醒了，斥責(zé)風(fēng)，向海說(shuō)，住了吧，靜了吧。風(fēng)就止住，大大的平靜了。

　　And he arose， and rebuked the wind， and said unto the sea， Peace， be still. And the wind ceased， and there was a great calm.

　　4：40 耶穌對(duì)他們說(shuō)，為什么膽怯。你們沒(méi)有信心嗎。

　　And he said unto them， Why are ye so fearful？ how is it that ye have no faith？

　　4：41 他們就大大的懼怕，彼此說(shuō)，這到底是誰(shuí)，連風(fēng)和海也聽(tīng)從他了。

　　And they feared exceedingly， and said one to another， What manner of man is this， that even the wind and the sea obey him？
