20：1 有一天耶穌在殿里教訓百姓，講福音的時候，祭司長和文士并長老上前來，And it came to pass， that on one of those days， as he taught the people in the temple， and preached the gospel， the chief priests and the scribes came upon him with the elders，

　　20：2 問他說，你告訴我們，你仗著什么權(quán)柄作這些事，給你這權(quán)柄的是誰呢。

　　And spake unto him， saying， Tell us， by what authority doest thou these things？ or who is he that gave thee this authority？

　　20：3 耶穌回答說，我也要問你們一句話。你們且告訴我。

　　And he answered and said unto them， I will also ask you one thing； and answer me：

　　20：4 約翰的洗禮，是從天上來的，是從人間來的呢。

　　The baptism of John， was it from heaven， or of men？

　　20：5 他們彼此商議說，我們?nèi)粽f從天上來，他必說你們?yōu)槭裁床恍潘亍?/p>

　　And they reasoned with themselves， saying， If we shall say， From heaven； he will say， Why then believed ye him not？

　　20：6 若說從人間來，百姓都要用石頭打死我們。因為他們信約翰是先知。

　　But and if we say， Of men； all the people will stone us： for they be persuaded that John was a prophet.

　　20：7 于是回答說，不知道是從那里來的。

　　And they answered， that they could not tell whence it was.

　　20：8 耶穌說，我也不告訴你們，我仗著什么權(quán)柄作這些事。

　　And Jesus said unto them， Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

　　20：9 耶穌就設比喻，對百姓說，有人栽了一個葡萄園，租給園戶，就往外國去住了許久。

　　Then began he to speak to the people this parable； A certain man planted a vineyard， and let it forth to husbandmen， and went into a far country for a long time.

　　20：10 到了時候，打發(fā)一個仆人到園戶那里去，叫他們把園中當納的果子交給他。園戶竟打了他，叫他空手回去。

　　And at the season he sent a servant to the husbandmen， that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard： but the husbandmen beat him， and sent him away empty.

　　20：11 又打發(fā)一個仆人去。他們也打了他，并且凌辱他，叫他空手回去。

　　And again he sent another servant： and they beat him also， and entreated him shamefully， and sent him away empty.

　　20：12 又打發(fā)第三個仆人去。他們也打傷了他，把他推出去了。

　　And again he sent a third： and they wounded him also， and cast him out.

　　20：13 園主說，我怎嗎辦呢。我要打發(fā)我的愛子去?；蛘咚麄冏鹁此?。

　　Then said the lord of the vineyard， What shall I do？ I will send my beloved son： it may be they will reverence him when they see him.

　　20：14 他不料，園戶刻見他，就彼此商量說，這是承受產(chǎn)業(yè)的。我們殺他吧，使產(chǎn)業(yè)歸于我們。

　　But when the husbandmen saw him， they reasoned among themselves， saying， This is the heir： come， let us kill him， that the inheritance may be ours.

　　20：15 于是把他推出葡萄園外殺了。這樣，葡萄園的主人，要怎樣處治他們呢。

　　So they cast him out of the vineyard， and killed him. What therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do unto them？

　　20：16 他要求除滅這些園戶，將葡萄園轉(zhuǎn)給別人。聽見的人說，這是萬不可的。

　　He shall come and destroy these husbandmen， and shall give the vineyard to others. And when they heard it， they said， God forbid.

　　20：17 耶穌看著他們說，經(jīng)上記著，匠人所棄的石頭，已作了房角的頭塊石頭。這是什么意思呢。

　　And he beheld them， and said， What is this then that is written， The stone which the builders rejected， the same is become the head of the corner？

　　20：18 凡掉在那石頭上的，必要跌碎。那石頭掉在誰的身上，就要把誰砸得稀爛。

　　Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken； but on whomsoever it shall fall， it will grind him to powder.

　　20：19 文士和祭司長，看出這比喻是指著他們說的，當時就想要下手拿他。只是懼怕百姓。

　　And the chief priests and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on him； and they feared the people： for they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them.

　　20：20 于是窺探耶穌，打發(fā)奸細裝作好人，要在他的話上得把柄，好將他交在巡撫的政權(quán)之下。

　　And they watched him， and sent forth spies， which should feign themselves just men， that they might take hold of his words， that so they might deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor.

　　20：21 奸細就問耶穌說，夫子，我們曉得你所講所傳都是正道，也不取人的外貌，乃是誠誠實實傳神的道。

　　And they asked him， saying， Master， we know that thou sayest and teachest rightly， neither acceptest thou the person of any， but teachest the way of God truly：

　　20：22 我們納稅給凱撒，可以不可以。

　　Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar， or no？

　　20：23 耶穌看出他們的詭詐，就對他們說，But he perceived their craftiness， and said unto them， Why tempt ye me？

　　20：24 拿一個銀錢來給我看。這像和這號是誰的。他們說，是凱撒的。

　　Shew me a penny. Whose image and superscription hath it？ They answered and said， Caesar's.

　　20：25 耶穌說，這樣，凱撒的物當歸給凱撒，神的物當歸給神。

　　And he said unto them， Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's， and unto God the things which be God's.

　　20：26 他捫當著百姓，在這話上得不著把柄。又希奇他的應對，就閉口無言了。

　　And they could not take hold of his words before the people： and they marvelled at his answer， and held their peace.

　　20：27 撒都該人常說沒有復活的事。有幾個來問耶穌說，Then came to him certain of the Sadducees， which deny that there is any resurrection； and they asked him，

　　20：28 夫子，摩西為我們寫著說，人若有妻無子就死了，他兄弟當娶他的妻，為哥哥生子立后。

　　Saying， Master， Moses wrote unto us， If any man's brother die， having a wife， and he die without children， that his brother should take his wife， and raise up seed unto his brother.

　　20：29 有弟兄七人。第一個娶了妻，沒有孩子死了。

　　There were therefore seven brethren： and the first took a wife， and died without children.

　　20：30 第二個，第三個，也娶過他。

　　And the second took her to wife， and he died childless.

　　20：31 那七個人，都娶過他，沒有留下孩子就死了。

　　And the third took her； and in like manner the seven also： and they left no children， and died.

　　20：32 后來婦人也死了。

　　Last of all the woman died also.

　　20：33 這樣當復活的時候，他是那一個的妻子呢。因為他們七個人都娶過他。

　　Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them is she？ for seven had her to wife.

　　20：34 耶穌說，這世界的人，有娶有嫁。

　　And Jesus answering said unto them， The children of this world marry， and are given in marriage：

　　20：35 惟有算為配得那世界，與從死里復活的人，也不娶也不嫁。

　　But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world， and the resurrection from the dead， neither marry， nor are given in marriage：

　　20：36 因為他們不能再死。和天使一樣。既是復活的人，就為神的兒子。

　　Neither can they die any more： for they are equal unto the angels； and are the children of God， being the children of the resurrection.

　　20：37 至于死人復活，摩西在荊棘篇上，稱主是亞伯拉罕的神，以撒的神，雅各的神，就指示明白了。

　　Now that the dead are raised， even Moses shewed at the bush， when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham， and the God of Isaac， and the God of Jacob.

　　20：38 神原不是死人的神，乃是活人的神。因為在他那里，人都是活的。那里或作看來For he is not a God of the dead， but of the living： for all live unto him.

　　20：39 有幾個文士說，夫子，你說得好。

　　Then certain of the scribes answering said， Master， thou hast well said.

　　20：40 以后他們不敢再問他什么。

　　And after that they durst not ask him any question at all.

　　20：41 耶穌對他們說，人怎嗎說基督是大衛(wèi)的子孫呢。

　　And he said unto them， How say they that Christ is David's son？

　　20：42 詩篇上，大衛(wèi)自己說，主對我主說，你坐在我的右邊，And David himself saith in the book of Psalms， The LORD said unto my Lord， Sit thou on my right hand，

　　20：43 等我使你的仇敵作你的腳凳。

　　Till I make thine enemies thy footstool.

　　20：44 大衛(wèi)既稱他為主，他怎嗎又是大衛(wèi)的子孫呢。

　　David therefore calleth him Lord， how is he then his son？

　　20：45 眾百姓聽的時候，耶穌對門徒說，Then in the audience of all the people he said unto his disciples，

　　20：46 你們要防備文士。他們好穿長衣游行，喜愛人在街市上問他們安，又喜愛會堂里的高位，筵席上的首座。

　　Beware of the scribes， which desire to walk in long robes， and love greetings in the markets， and the highest seats in the synagogues， and the chief rooms at feasts；

　　20：47 他們侵吞寡婦的家產(chǎn)，假意作很長的禱告。這些人要受更重的刑罰。

　　Which devour widows' houses， and for a shew make long prayers： the same shall receive greater damnation.
