28：1 我們既已得救，才知道那島名叫馬耳他。

　　And when they were escaped， then they knew that the island was called Melita.

　　28：2 土人看待我們，有非常的情分，因?yàn)楫?dāng)時(shí)下雨，天氣又冷，就生火，接待我們眾人。

　　And the barbarous people shewed us no little kindness： for they kindled a fire， and received us every one， because of the present rain， and because of the cold.

　　28：3 那時(shí)保羅拾起一捆柴，放在火上，有一條毒蛇，因?yàn)闊崃顺鰜?lái)，咬住他的手。

　　And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks， and laid them on the fire， there came a viper out of the heat， and fastened on his hand.

　　28：4 土人看見(jiàn)那毒蛇，懸在他手上，就彼此說(shuō)，這人必是個(gè)兇手，雖然從海里救上來(lái)，天理還不容他活著。

　　And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand， they said among themselves， No doubt this man is a murderer， whom， though he hath escaped the sea， yet vengeance suffereth not to live.

　　28：5 保羅竟把那蛇，甩在火里，并沒(méi)有受傷。

　　And he shook off the beast into the fire， and felt no harm.

　　28：6 土人想他必要腫起來(lái)，或是忽然仆倒死了。看了多時(shí)，見(jiàn)他無(wú)害，就轉(zhuǎn)念說(shuō)，他是個(gè)神。

　　Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen， or fallen down dead suddenly： but after they had looked a great while， and saw no harm come to him， they changed their minds， and said that he was a god.

　　28：7 離那地方不遠(yuǎn)，有田產(chǎn)是島長(zhǎng)部百流的。他接納我們，盡情款待三日。

　　In the same quarters were possessions of the chief man of the island， whose name was Publius； who received us， and lodged us three days courteously.

　　28：8 當(dāng)時(shí)，部百流的父親，患熱病和痢疾躺著。保羅進(jìn)去，為他禱告，按手在他身上，治好了他。

　　And it came to pass， that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and of a bloody flux： to whom Paul entered in， and prayed， and laid his hands on him， and healed him.

　　28：9 從此，島上其馀的病人，也來(lái)得了醫(yī)治。

　　So when this was done， others also， which had diseases in the island， came， and were healed：

　　28：10 他們又多方的尊敬我們。到了開(kāi)船的時(shí)候，也把我們所需用的送到船上。

　　Who also honoured us with many honours； and when we departed， they laded us with such things as were necessary.

　　28：11 過(guò)了三個(gè)月，我們上了亞力山太的船，往前行。這船以宙斯雙子為記，是在海島過(guò)了冬的。

　　And after three months we departed in a ship of Alexandria， which had wintered in the isle， whose sign was Castor and Pollux.

　　28：12 到了敘拉古，我們停泊三日。

　　And landing at Syracuse， we tarried there three days.

　　28：13 又從那里繞行，來(lái)到利基翁。過(guò)了一天，起了南風(fēng)，第二天就來(lái)到部丟利。

　　And from thence we fetched a compass， and came to Rhegium： and after one day the south wind blew， and we came the next day to Puteoli：

　　28：14 在那里遇見(jiàn)弟兄們，請(qǐng)我們與他們同住七天。這樣我們來(lái)到羅馬。

　　Where we found brethren， and were desired to tarry with them seven days： and so we went toward Rome.

　　28：15 那里的弟兄們，一聽(tīng)見(jiàn)我們的信息，就出來(lái)到亞比烏市，和三館地方迎接我們。保羅見(jiàn)了他們，就感謝神，放心壯膽。

　　And from thence， when the brethren heard of us， they came to meet us as far as Appii forum， and The three taverns： whom when Paul saw， he thanked God， and took courage.

　　28：16 進(jìn)了羅馬城，（有古卷在此有百夫長(zhǎng)把眾囚犯交給御營(yíng)的統(tǒng)領(lǐng)惟有）保羅蒙準(zhǔn)，和一個(gè)看守他的兵，另住在一處。

　　And when we came to Rome， the centurion delivered the prisoners to the captain of the guard： but Paul was suffered to dwell by himself with a soldier that kept him.

　　28：17 過(guò)了三天，保羅請(qǐng)猶太人的首領(lǐng)來(lái)。他們來(lái)了，就對(duì)他們說(shuō)，弟兄們，我雖沒(méi)有作什么事干犯本國(guó)的百姓，和我們祖宗的規(guī)條，卻被鎖綁，從耶路撒冷解在羅馬人的手里。

　　And it came to pass， that after three days Paul called the chief of the Jews together： and when they were come together， he said unto them， Men and brethren， though I have committed nothing against the people， or customs of our fathers， yet was I delivered prisoner from Jerusalem into the hands of the Romans.

　　28：18 他們審問(wèn)了我，就愿意釋放我。因?yàn)樵谖疑砩希](méi)有該死的罪。

　　Who， when they had examined me， would have let me go， because there was no cause of death in me.

　　28：19 無(wú)奈猶太人不服，我不得己，只好上告于凱撒。并沒(méi)有什么事，要控告我本國(guó)的百姓。

　　But when the Jews spake against it， I was constrained to appeal unto Caesar； not that I had ought to accuse my nation of.

　　28：20 因此，我請(qǐng)你們來(lái)見(jiàn)面說(shuō)話。我原為以色列人所指望的，被這鏈子捆鎖。

　　For this cause therefore have I called for you， to see you， and to speak with you： because that for the hope of Israel I am bound with this chain.

　　28：21 他們說(shuō)，我們并沒(méi)有接著從猶太來(lái)論你的信，也沒(méi)有弟兄到這里來(lái)，報(bào)信給我們說(shuō)，你有什么不好處。

　　And they said unto him， We neither received letters out of Judaea concerning thee， neither any of the brethren that came shewed or spake any harm of thee.

　　28：22 但我們?cè)敢饴?tīng)你的意見(jiàn)如何。因?yàn)檫@教門，我們曉得是到處被毀謗的。

　　But we desire to hear of thee what thou thinkest： for as concerning this sect， we know that every where it is spoken against.

　　28：23 他們和保羅約定了日子，就有許多人到他的寓處來(lái)，保羅從早到晚，對(duì)他們講論這事，證明神國(guó)的道，引摩西的律法和先知的書，以耶穌的事，勸勉他們。

　　And when they had appointed him a day， there came many to him into his lodging； to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God， persuading them concerning Jesus， both out of the law of Moses， and out of the prophets， from morning till evening.

　　28：24 他所說(shuō)的話，有信的，有不信的。

　　And some believed the things which were spoken， and some believed not.

　　28：25 他們彼此不合，就散了。未散以先，保羅說(shuō)了一句話，說(shuō)，圣靈藉先知以賽亞，向你們祖宗所說(shuō)的話，是不錯(cuò)的。

　　And when they agreed not among themselves， they departed， after that Paul had spoken one word， Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers，

　　28：26 他說(shuō)，你去告訴這百姓說(shuō)，你們聽(tīng)是要聽(tīng)見(jiàn)，卻不明白。看是要看見(jiàn)，卻不曉得。

　　Saying， Go unto this people， and say， Hearing ye shall hear， and shall not understand； and seeing ye shall see， and not perceive：

　　28：27 因?yàn)檫@百姓，油蒙了心，耳朵發(fā)沉，眼睛閉著。恐怕眼睛看見(jiàn)，耳朵聽(tīng)見(jiàn)，心里明白，回轉(zhuǎn)過(guò)來(lái)，我就醫(yī)治他們。

　　For the heart of this people is waxed gross， and their ears are dull of hearing， and their eyes have they closed； lest they should see with their eyes， and hear with their ears， and understand with their heart， and should be converted， and I should heal them.

　　28：28 所以你們當(dāng)知道，神這救恩，如今傳給外邦人，他們也必聽(tīng)受。（有古卷在此有，Be it known therefore unto you， that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles， and that they will hear it.

　　28：29 保羅說(shuō)了這話猶太人議論紛紛的就走了）。

　　And when he had said these words， the Jews departed， and had great reasoning among themselves.

　　28：30 保羅在自己所租的房子里，住了足足兩年。凡來(lái)見(jiàn)他的人，他全都接待，And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house， and received all that came in unto him，

　　28：31 放膽傳講神國(guó)的道，將耶穌基督的事教導(dǎo)人，并沒(méi)有人禁止。

　　Preaching the kingdom of God， and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ， with all confidence， no man forbidding him.
