Two elderly couples were enjoying friendly conversation when one of the men asked the other," Fred, how was the memory clinic you went to last month?"
"Outstanding," Fred replied. "They taught us all the latest psychological techniques: visualization, association, etc. It was great."
"That's great! And what was the name of the clinic?" Fred went blank. He thought and thought, but couldn't remember.
Then a smile broke across his face and he asked, "What do you call that flower with the long stem and thorns?"
"You mean a rose?"
"Yes, that's it!" He turned to his wife, "Rose, what was the name of that memory clinic?"
兩對(duì)老年夫婦開心融洽地聊著天，一老爺子問另一老爺子：“弗雷德，你們上月去的記憶力診所怎么樣啊？”
“很牛哇，”弗雷德回答說，“他們教我們的都是最新的心理學(xué)技巧——形象記憶、聯(lián)想記憶啥的，真是太棒了。”
“那好哇！那診所叫什么名字呀？”
弗雷德懵了，他想了又想，可還是想不起來。
最后一抹笑容浮上他臉龐，他問：“那種帶著長枝和挺多刺兒的花，叫什么來著？”
“你是說玫瑰吧？”
“沒錯(cuò)，就這個(gè)！”他掉頭問老伴：“玫瑰，那家記憶力診所叫什么名字啊？”
