趣味英語:記憶學校
有兩對夫婦每個周末的晚上總要聚在一起打橋牌。
第「1」串：play bridge打橋牌
When I came in， they were playing bridge and didn't notice me at all.
這一天打到一半，休息一會兒，兩位夫人進廚房準備夜宵，剩下兩位丈夫在閑聊。
第「2」串：midnight snack夜宵
As a manager， he is staying up everyday， so his wife usually prepares some midnight snacks for him.
“Joe，以前每次打牌我都要提醒你什麼牌已經打過了，今天你倒用不著我提醒，怎麼會有這么大的長進？”Frank問。“我參加了一所記憶學校。”Joe說。
第「3」串：remind sb. of sth.提醒某人某事
Be sure to remind me of wedding ceremony. I would be glad to come.
“哦？這么管用，那所學校的名字叫什么？”Frank問。“讓我想想……”Joe環顧四周，然后指著窗臺上的一盆花對Frank說：“那種紫紅色的，莖上帶刺的花叫什么名字？”“Rose（玫瑰）”Frank回答道。
第「4」串：amaranth紫紅色；thorn刺
There is no rose without thorn.
“對了，是Rose.”Joe拍了一下自己的腦袋，然后沖著廚房大聲喊道：“喂，Rose……，我去的那所記憶學校叫什么名字？”
第「5」串：pat sb. on the head拍某人的腦袋
In China， it is considered an impolite manner to pat others on the head.
