適時地發揮幽默感，“開玩笑”怎么說？

1. Are you kidding me？
你是在開玩笑嗎？
Are you kidding me？ 注意 kid （開玩笑）這個詞還是個及物動詞，可以直接在后面加賓語， 而不必說成 Are you kidding on me？ 講這句話的時候多半是表示自己對對方的話不太相信，同時也表現出自己的驚訝。同樣的你也可以說You must be kidding.
另外當別人似乎是在開玩笑時，老美也喜歡說Really？ 這個詞有兩種念法，如果你把 really 的尾音上揚，表示出的是一種懷疑的語氣，可能對對方說的事情還很懷疑，但如果尾音下沉，則是表示出一種驚訝，但對對方所說的事情基本上已經是沒有懷疑的。
2. He likes to pull gags on me.
他喜歡跟我開玩笑。
“開我的玩笑”有很多講法，例如 play jokes on me 或是 pull gags on me 等等。但它們指的多半是基于好玩而開的玩笑，而非取笑。例如別人要坐下時，你卻忽然把椅子給拉走，這就算是一種 pulled a gag 的惡作劇。
3. He is a rascal.
他是個搗蛋鬼。
Rascal 這個詞一般我們最熟悉的意思是流氓，但它還有其它幾個意思，一是指小孩很小但卻很壞，大人說什么他都不聽，這種小孩就是 rascal 或稱 brat.另外一個意思就是搗蛋鬼，指那些很喜歡惡作劇的人，這時 rascal 也就相當于 prankster.
如果要用形容詞形容一個人很愛惡作劇，mischievous 這個詞是再恰當不過的了。例如 He is so mischievous. I can not endure him anymore （他太淘氣了，我受不了他）。
