Hobbies are leisure time interest or activity taken up for pleasure. A good hobby can broaden our knowledge and help us develop a certain skill. It relieves us of fatigue， relaxes our mind， and enlivens our life. By pursuing a good hobby， we keep a healthy body and a sunny character.
There are various hobbies in everyday life. Some people enjoy collecting stamps or coins. Some like to play chess or go fishing. Knitting， raising birds， growing flowers and keeping company with pets also attract many people. As one man's meat is another man's poison， it is hard to tell that one hobby is preferable to another.
The hobby we choose must be sound. Besides， it must suit the amount of time and money we can afford. That is because we have only limited spare time， and we do not want the hobby to bring a financial burden to us.
