Worried About Parents
Jack and Tom are talking to each other. Jack says, "I'm really worried. My dad works twelve hours a day to give me a nice home and good food. My mom cleans the room and cooks for me the whole day. I'm quite worried！"
Tom asks, "What have you got to worry about？ Sounds to me like you've got it made！"
Jack says, "What if they don't want to do any more？"
Jack和Tom在聊天。Jack說:“我真擔心啊！我爸爸每天工作12小時,好給我一個舒適的家和好吃的東西。我媽媽每天都要給我打掃房間,給我做飯。我擔心的不得了！”
Tom說:“你還擔心什么啊？你想要的不是都有了嗎？”
Jack說:“要是有一天他們不想干了可怎么辦哪！”
Asking to Play
Andy knocked at the door of his friend. When his friend's mother answered, he asked, "Can Eddie come out to play？"
"No," said the mother, "he has got a lot of homework to do."
"Well, then," said Andy, "can his football come out to play？"
Andy敲著他朋友的家門。當朋友的媽媽出來應門的時候,Andy問到:“Eddie能不能出來玩啊？”
“不行,”媽媽回答說,“他有許多作業(yè)要做哪。”
“喔,那么,”Andy又問道,“他的足球能不能出來玩呢？”
