(1)據(jù)說(shuō)我國(guó)的教科書(shū)壽命一般是半年,而美國(guó)則是五年。這說(shuō)明浪費(fèi)嚴(yán)重;
(2)我國(guó)有兩億兩千萬(wàn)學(xué)生,每年要用三十億本教科書(shū),這就需要消耗一千一百萬(wàn)棵樹(shù)木。如果將教科書(shū)的壽命在延長(zhǎng)一年的話,那么將節(jié)省好多樹(shù)木;
(3)許多貧困家庭的學(xué)生買(mǎi)不起教科書(shū),如果將不用的教科書(shū)贈(zèng)給他們豈不是更好?

Recently there has been an argument about the reuse of textbooks on the internet.I am writing to talk about it.
As we all know, the average lifespan of a copy of a textbook is only half a year in our country while in America it is five years or so, which shows we waste too much. There are 220 million students consuming 3 billion textbooks each year, so about 11 million trees are needed to produce them! If the lifespan of textbooks could be extended for one more year, a large number of trees could be saved each year. In addition, many children from poor families can’t afford textbooks. Will it be good if we can afford them to reuse the books?
So I suggest that all of us should encourage students to take care of their textbooks, and not only does it do good to us but also to nature. At the same time, this can also help us develop awareness of thriftiness.

你的文章必須包括以下內(nèi)容:
1. 你是否會(huì)參加比賽;
2. 你做出該決定的具體理由。
Version 1:
A group dancing competition will be held in our school and the monitor calls on everybody to take an active part in it. While most of my classmates are still hesitating whether to participate, I have said yes to our monitor with great pleasure.
Generally speaking, there are two reasons for my decision. First, it is a good opportunity for me to relax myself, which will enable me to study more efficiently. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, so goes the saying, which clearly shows us the importance of relaxation. Besides, I think I am a good dancer after learning dance for more than five years. Participating in the contest will be a golden chance for me to show my dancing skills and make some contributions to the class.
For the two reasons mentioned above, it is no surprise that I have such a strong enthusiasm on the group dancing competition.
Version 2:
Today the monitor calls on everybody to take an active part in the group dancing competition which will be held in a couple of days in our school. But after some careful consideration, I have decided not to participate.
There are a number of reasons for my decision. First and foremost, as the College Entrance Exam is just around the corner, study is the top priority for me. Participating in the group dancing competition has to give way because it might take me too much time. What’s more, without any experience of dancing, I don’t think I can be a good dancing partner. I am afraid my poor dancing skills will probably spoil the performance of the whole class. In this case, it’s better for me to be a spectator cheering for my classmates.
For these reasons, it seems more appropriate for me to watch the competition than to dance myself.
從寫(xiě)作方法來(lái)說(shuō),考生可以根據(jù)高考議論文寫(xiě)作的一般思路將整個(gè)文章分為三段來(lái)寫(xiě)。
第一段是引言段,引出兩點(diǎn):topic和thesis.Topic就是文章的話題,在這篇文章中就是集體舞比賽這個(gè)事情。而thesis就是指全文的中心內(nèi)容,在本文中就是自己是否參加比賽。注意英語(yǔ)寫(xiě)作需要開(kāi)門(mén)見(jiàn)山地引出主題。有些考生到全文結(jié)尾的時(shí)候才表明自己參加或不參加的態(tài)度就是不對(duì)的,必須在開(kāi)頭就表明自己是否參加這個(gè)比賽,然后再論述理由。例如在例文中,A group dancing competition will be held in our school and the monitor calls on everybody to take an active part in it.或者Today the monitor calls on everybody to take an active part in the group dancing competition which will be held in a couple of days in our school.都是用來(lái)引出topic的句子。而引出thesis的句子則是While most of my classmates are still hesitating whether to participate, I have said yes to our monitor with great pleasure.或者But after some careful consideration, I have decided not to participate.
第二段是論證段,也是全文的重心所在,主要是講述自己的理由,即為什么參加或者不參加這個(gè)比賽。一般來(lái)說(shuō),對(duì)于一篇120-150words的文章來(lái)說(shuō),只要寫(xiě)兩個(gè)理由就夠了,每個(gè)理由之后都有一個(gè)進(jìn)一步的細(xì)節(jié)闡述,這樣整體的字?jǐn)?shù)就差不多達(dá)標(biāo)了。例如,在論述自己參加比賽的原因時(shí),范文中寫(xiě)了兩點(diǎn):1.可以放松自己;2.可以展示自己的舞蹈水平并為班級(jí)做貢獻(xiàn)。每個(gè)觀點(diǎn)又都有自己的支撐句,例如對(duì)于“放松自己”的支撐句就是用一個(gè)諺語(yǔ)來(lái)引出relaxation的重要性。而對(duì)于“展示自己的才華”,支撐句是自己學(xué)舞蹈學(xué)了五年以上并且舞蹈技藝很好。第一個(gè)分論點(diǎn)的論證方式是先提出總的觀點(diǎn),再進(jìn)行論證,是演繹法的推理。第二個(gè)分論點(diǎn)的論證方式是先有理由,再有觀點(diǎn),是歸納法的推理。
最后一段是總結(jié)段,本題目在總結(jié)段的時(shí)候可以寫(xiě)的稍微簡(jiǎn)潔一點(diǎn),例如以上兩篇范文,最后的結(jié)尾都很簡(jiǎn)單,能夠總結(jié)全文的中心即可。所用的句型也可以新東方高考寫(xiě)作教材上找到原形。
