該段落雖然沒(méi)有語(yǔ)言錯(cuò)誤，層次也較為清晰，但如果再適當(dāng)增加些細(xì)節(jié)則會(huì)使上下文連貫、緊湊，同時(shí)也符合老師“家訪”的實(shí)際。如句(2)前加 From these visits，則可使句(1)和句(2)聯(lián)系更加密切；在句(3)后加上according to their family situation。請(qǐng)看：
I think teachers’ visits to kids’ home can make teachers, students and their parents know each other better through talking face to face. From these visits, students can know how much care their teachers have given them. Besides, the teachers can make different suggestions to different students according to their particular family situation.
段落的簡(jiǎn)潔性
一個(gè)段落可長(zhǎng)可短，沒(méi)有具體限制，主要取決于段落主題表達(dá)的需要。但在寫(xiě)段落時(shí)必須遵循簡(jiǎn)潔性原則，避免贅言和與主題無(wú)關(guān)的語(yǔ)言成分。請(qǐng)看下面一個(gè)段落：
(1) Bicycles are a convenient means of transportation. (2)It is easy to go to work by bike. (3)It is easy to go to school by bike. (4)It is also easy to go wherever you like by bike on a short trip, as most of the Chinese live not far from where they work or study. (5)Riding bicycles is also good exercise. (6)It can help build our bodies.
該段落以主題句Bicycles are a convenient means of transportation開(kāi)始，其后幾個(gè)擴(kuò)展句緊緊圍繞這一主題展開(kāi)，這符合段落的寫(xiě)作要求。但是，后面幾個(gè)句子表達(dá)方式過(guò)于單一，接連使用了幾個(gè)It is easy…，這給人重復(fù)累贅的感覺(jué)，同時(shí)也覺(jué)得表達(dá)乏味。為此，可把句子進(jìn)行合并與整理，如句(2)和(3)可合并在一塊表達(dá)：It is easy to go to work or school by bike. 為避免句式重復(fù)，句(4)前半部分可改變表達(dá)方式：You can go wherever you like by bike, 然后移至句(2)；同時(shí)把(4)句后半部分與(2)和(3)合并后的句子放在一起，以符合邏輯性。請(qǐng)看修改后的段落：
