For kids, it is a tradition that they put stockings in the chimney, the Santa Claus will bring them gifts that night. Actually, the gifts that the kids get are from their parents, the Santa Claus is their parents. Christmas Eve is like Chinese New Year’s Eve, both are important, the culture between Chinaand western countries has something in common.
平安夜很快就要到來(lái)了，這在圣誕節(jié)的前天——12月24號(hào)。一開(kāi)始，圣誕節(jié)在西方國(guó)家很流行，隨著全球化的發(fā)展，平安夜成為了世界性的節(jié)日。在那天，人們裝飾圣誕樹(shù)，家人吃晚飯，所有的成員聚集在一起，坐在火爐旁，聊天，唱歌。夜晚人們有很多的活動(dòng)，年輕人喜歡參加派對(duì)或者假面舞會(huì)，派對(duì)進(jìn)行一整晚，慶祝圣誕節(jié)的到來(lái)。對(duì)于小孩子來(lái)說(shuō)，他們把長(zhǎng)筒襪房子煙囪里，這是一個(gè)傳統(tǒng)，圣誕老人就會(huì)在晚上給他們帶來(lái)禮物。實(shí)際上，孩子們得到的禮物是父母給的，圣誕老人就是他們的父母。平安夜就像中國(guó)的除夕夜，兩個(gè)都很重要，中國(guó)和西方國(guó)家的文化有相同性。
