【G類雅思必備】雅思書信作文的寫作思路剖析
G類的小作文絕大多數(shù)都是以書信形式展開的，這一形式本身決定了它與A類小作文有著很大的區(qū)別。但仔細(xì)分析一下題目，基本萬變不離其宗，下面以劍9的一道題目為例來進(jìn)行題目分析。
You are working for a company. You need to take some time off work and want to ask your manager about this.
Write a letter to your manager. In your letter
Explain why you want to take time off work
Give details of the amount of time you need
Suggest how your work could be covered while you are away
首先，作文題目會(huì)給出一個(gè)情境，也就是要寫這封信的事由和目的。緊接著，題目用小標(biāo)題的形式給出了三個(gè)要求，也就是書信必須要講清楚的三件事情，告訴大家要寫什么。這樣清晰的題目提出的方法，給審題降低了很大的難度，也為評(píng)分標(biāo)準(zhǔn)之一的“人物完成”減輕了很大的負(fù)擔(dān)，因?yàn)榇蠹抑灰椭@樣的要求一一回應(yīng)就可以，而非像A類圖表題一樣還要?jiǎng)雍艽竽X筋去想該寫什么內(nèi)容才能最好地回應(yīng)任務(wù)。
一段答一條，就這么簡(jiǎn)單!
條理清晰的問題提出方法，也為文章的結(jié)構(gòu)指出了一條明路。大家只需要為題目中的目的介紹和三個(gè)條目分別安排一段即可。在順序上，如果有進(jìn)行自我介紹的要求(如果有，一般出現(xiàn)在三個(gè)條目的第一條)，就將自我介紹和寫信目的寫在第一段，將剩下兩個(gè)條目分別寫一段。
信件結(jié)構(gòu)輕松搞定，現(xiàn)在來關(guān)心一下格式問題。首先，地址是不需要寫。開頭稱謂頂格寫，有時(shí)試卷會(huì)給出完整的稱謂，有時(shí)只給出“Dear…”。如果沒有給出稱謂，我們采取的方案就是以下兩種中的一種：根據(jù)情境的要求，如果完全不認(rèn)識(shí)收信人，寫上“Dear Sir/Madam”;如果認(rèn)識(shí)收信人，就來給收信人編一個(gè)名字吧，例如“Dear Jack”“Dear Mr Green”等。注意稱謂結(jié)束用一個(gè)逗號(hào)。主體段的各段都頂格寫，每段之間空一行。落款的祝福有很多種寫法，通用的方法是“Sincerely yours”頂格寫，后面接逗號(hào)。而后空一行留下名字，同樣，名字也給自己編一個(gè)，不要用真名，寫個(gè)“Mary”啊“Tom”啊都可以。

As part of a student social survey project, you are organizing a group to visit a historical exhibition in a small town.
Write a letter asking for information regarding such things as the contents of the exhibition, and the dates of its opening and closing, and if there are any discounts available.
Dear Sir,
I am organizing a group of students to pay a visit to the historical exhibition in your town. This visit will be part of our school’s activities to encourage the students to take part in social surveys. Therefore, I would be grateful if you could supply me with the following information.
First of all, what are the dates between which the exhibition will be held, and what are the daily opening hours? Secondly, what is the size of the exhibition, what is its theme and what objects are on display? Thirdly, are there any other activities being held in connection with the exhibition?
I must point out that I hope to bring over students to the exhibition. So I would like to inquire if there is any discount available on entrance tickets for students. If so, how much is the discount and what is the minimum number of students necessary to qualify for it?
