很多用來描述金融政策的詞，例如“引導經濟軟著陸”或“輕踩經濟剎車”，使其聽起來像是一門精確的科學。而事實遠非如此。
點睛：
第一個句子的主干為much of thelanguage…,makes it sound like….much of thelanguage是主語，分詞短語used to describe monetary policy作后置定語修飾language。such as后跟的“steering the economy to a soft landing" or” a touch on the brakes”是前面language的同位語，對其進行列舉說明。
本句理解的難點為：nothing could be further from the truth.其字面意思是“沒有什么比這更遠離事實了”，實際的意思是“事情并非如此”，對前文的陳述表示強烈的反對。
