Pre-school Training Is Beneficial
Nowadays, an overwhelming majority of young parents send their pre-school kids to several training classes of intellectual development of specialty cultivation, which has aroused tremendous concern from the public. As a result, there is a heated discussion at present on whether pre-school training is beneficial or not. Sharing the burning desire of laying a solid foundation for the children’s future success, I totally vote for this early education.
In the first place, it gives high-level starting point for children’s intellectual development. According to educationists, the period of three to five years old is known to be the stage of the utmost mental development in language acquisition and cognitive growth. Since prenatal education is well accepted among common people, there isn’t any reason for parents to ignore such a golden chance of early enlightenment. In the face of keen competition, parents are willing to do their utmost in order to pave the way for their children’s development, to say nothing of discovering potentials and shaping abilities. This is especially the case in the city, where it is deeply believed that, children will envision less difficulty in their later life voyage.
In addition, the classes on some musical instruments, painting, dancing and etc. help to cultivate children’s specialty and foster their interest in life. With passage of time, parents have become more down-to-earth than before. They do not expect the kids to become pianists when sending them to piano lessons, for instance. Children may receive an early education on a certain skill as an entertainment for the rest of their life. In adulthood, they will be grateful to their parents for the decision made for the sake of them.
Lastly, a pre-school education may help children to better accustom themselves to formal schooling. What happens to a child in the pre-school years makes a difference in his attitude towards school learning. When he or she feels familiar with the study materials and environment, it is more likely for him or her to be socially and emotionally ready for the new experience of school. The parents must make an effort to kindle the child’s interests. It is through interest and confidence that a child first senses the pleasure of learning.
In conclusion, pre-school training plays such an important role that it cannot be ignored by parents and the community. And it deserves further attention and dedication from educators and the society.
