Independent Writing：Addresses the topic and task well, though some points may not be fully elaborated; Is generally well organized and well developed, using appropriate and sufficient explanations, exemplifications, and/or details; Displays unity, progression, and coherence, though it may contain occasional redundancy, digression, or unclear connections; Displays facility in the use of language, demonstrating syntactic variety and range of vocabulary, though it will probably have occasional noticeable minor errors in structure, word form, or use of idiomatic language that do not interfere with meaning.
托福獨立寫作評分標準翻譯：4分作文
獨立寫作：此分數的文章大體有一下的特點：很好地針對話題完成任務，但是一些論點沒有充分展開;總體上能夠充分展開，結構清晰，使用適當的解釋、例證和/或細節體現出一致、遞進、連貫的特點。但是存在偶爾沒必要的重復、離題或是不清楚的聯系;語言熟練，能使用出不同的句法和詞匯。但是在結構、詞匯、或是習慣用法上存在明顯的次要錯誤，盡管這些錯誤并不影響意思的表達。
