托福獨(dú)立寫(xiě)作話題素材拓展：教育

Connotation 1: Knowledge imparting (知識(shí)傳授)
知識(shí)傳授(knowledge imparting)是教育的一個(gè)重要內(nèi)涵，教師是傳授(impart)專業(yè)知識(shí)的主要角色。

1. Knowledge imparting is one of the important connotations of education. One responsibility of teachers is to teach specific knowledge to student.
2. Undoubtedly, teacher should impart knowledge to students since it is their main duty.
Connotation 2: personality cultivation(個(gè)性培養(yǎng))
如果學(xué)校只提供專業(yè)知識(shí)的傳輸而不注重個(gè)性培養(yǎng)，這個(gè)學(xué)校顯然是誤讀(misread)了“教育”，因?yàn)榻逃龖?yīng)該“以人為本”(people oriented)，人的培養(yǎng)應(yīng)該是全方位的(comprehensive)，比如個(gè)性的培養(yǎng)，自信的建立等。

Connotation 3: Cooperation and competition(合作與競(jìng)爭(zhēng))
朋友既可以是來(lái)自相同背景的，也可以是非常迥異的人通過(guò)競(jìng)爭(zhēng)與合作共同進(jìn)步。同時(shí)，當(dāng)今社會(huì)競(jìng)爭(zhēng)如此激烈，有不同背景的朋友有利于在社會(huì)上立足。
