Do-it-herselfer (also called a handywoman) refers to a woman who performs some or all of her home's repair, maintenance, and construction jobs.
自己動手女（do-it-herselfer或handywoman）指能將家中部分或全部維修、維護及修筑類工作自己動手搞定的女性。
According to the Tampa-based Home Improvement Research Institute, women now account for more than a third of all do-it-yourself purchases. More women prefer to spend their weekend leisure time working on a home improvement project than shopping or cooking.
位于美國坦帕的美國家居修飾研究所表示，女性在所有自制類購物者中所占的比例超過三分之一。越來越多的女性更愿意將周末休閑時光用在家庭裝修項目上，而不是去購物或下廚。
