Whenever I pass by the lakeside in our campus， where the scenery is so beautiful， I always see several love birds sitting there， talking with great animation.

　　Compared with them， I seemed to be so lonely. On hearing that one of my roommates has succeeded in making a lovely girlfriend on campus， I think that I， too， would like to have a girlfriend. Why do I want a girlfriend？

　　I want a girlfriend who can make me know more about females. As it is known to all， female's way of thinking is always much different from male's. But in the past few years， for the sake of study， I scarcely took the initiative to communicate with my female classmates. However， nowadays， when females are mainstay of our society， It is so important for me to be conscious of what a female thinks and how a female feels， which may widely benefit me. So， if I have a girlfriend， she can easily help me attain the aim.

　　At the same time， I want a girlfriend who can bring me a colorful life which I have never experienced. Having a girlfriend， of course， not just means two people stay together. I must learn lots of things such as how to be a thoughtful gentleman to care for a lady， and of course， how to put up with some small shortcomings like willfulness and jealousy of my girl. Though it may sometimes be troublesome， just like what most adults said. But in my opinion， a life without loving affairs can't be called a life. So I am longing for learning it through making a girlfriend.

　　Finally， I want a girlfriend who can encourage me whenever I need. The majority of people who have ambitions fail halfway. Why？ One of the main reasons is that there is nobody sustains them imo pectore when they failed. As a close girl who often companies me， my girlfriend can encourage me more effectively. As the old saying goes， “The gifted scholars match beautiful ladies”， making a girlfriend will spur a boy to study well in order to match his nice girlfriend.

　　So， why not make a girlfriend myself？

　　我們的大學校園很漂亮，每次經過湖畔的時候，我總會看見幾只愛情鳥駐足在此嘰嘰喳喳地叫，似乎在談論些什么。

　　可是與她們相比，我就顯得有點孤獨了。我聽說我的一個室友在學校交到了一個漂亮可愛的女朋友。我心里也想交一個女朋友，可是，我要交女朋友的原因又是什么呢？

　　我想有一個女朋友，這樣她可以使我對女性的了解更加深入。大家都知道，女性與男性之間的思維方式存在很大的差異。然而，在最近幾年，由于忙于學習的原因，我很少主動與女同學交往。如今，女性也是社會的頂梁柱，如果能明白女性是如何思考，如何感觸的話，那對我來說就非常重要了，而且我也將會受益匪淺。所以，如果我有個女朋友的話，她將會幫我實現這個想法。

　　此外，有一個女朋友的話，她會使我的生活變得豐富多彩。當然，有了女朋友，并不是說兩個人就要日夜廝守在一起，因為我還有好多東西要學，比如，怎么成一個體貼的紳士去照顧女士，還有，如何應付女友的一些任性和妒忌的小毛病。盡管有些時候這可能有點像一些大人所說的有些煩人吧，可是依我個人來看，如果生活中沒有了愛情，生活就不能稱其為生活了吧。因此，為了解生活，我現在很渴望有個女朋友。

　　最后，我想有個可以給我精神鼓勵與支持的女朋友。很多人的抱負都是努力到半路就沒有了，這是為什么呢？其中一個主要的原因就是在他們失敗的時候沒有人用心繼續支持他們。如果有個女朋友的話，她就會時常陪伴我，而且她給我的鼓勵會更加見效。有句古話道：“才子配佳人”。男孩為了和他的漂亮女友般配，他也會更加努力學習的。

　　因此，為什么我就不能交一個女朋友呢？
