4：1 所羅門作以色列眾人的王。

　　So king Solomon was king over all Israel.

　　4：2 他的臣子記在下面，撒督的兒子亞撒利雅作祭司，And these were the princes which he had； Azariah the son of Zadok the priest，

　　4：3 示沙的兩個兒子以利何烈，亞希亞作書記，亞希律的兒子約沙法作史官，Elihoreph and Ahiah， the sons of Shisha， scribes； Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud， the recorder.

　　4：4 耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅作元帥，撒督和亞比亞他作祭司長，And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the host： and Zadok and Abiathar were the priests：

　　4：5 拿單的兒子亞撒利雅作眾吏長，王的朋友拿單的兒子撒布得作領袖，And Azariah the son of Nathan was over the officers： and Zabud the son of Nathan was principal officer， and the king's friend：

　　4：6 亞希煞作家宰，亞比大的兒子亞多尼蘭掌管服苦的人。

　　And Ahishar was over the household： and Adoniram the son of Abda was over the tribute.

　　4：7 所羅門在以色列全地立了十二個官吏，使他們供給王和王家的食物，每年各人供給一月。

　　And Solomon had twelve officers over all Israel， which provided victuals for the king and his household： each man his month in a year made provision.

　　4：8 他們的名字記在下面，在以法蓮山地有便戶珥。

　　And these are their names： The son of Hur， in mount Ephraim：

　　4：9 在瑪迦斯，沙賓，伯示麥，以倫伯哈南有便底甲。

　　The son of Dekar， in Makaz， and in Shaalbim， and Bethshemesh， and Elonbethhanan：

　　4：10 在亞魯The son of Hesed， in Aruboth； to him pertained Sochoh， and all the land of Hepher：

　　4：11 在多珥山岡（或作全境）有便亞比拿達，他娶了所羅門的女兒她法為妻。

　　The son of Abinadab， in all the region of Dor； which had Taphath the daughter of Solomon to wife：

　　4：12 在他納和米吉多，并靠近撒拉他拿，耶斯列下邊的伯善全地，從伯善到亞伯米何拉直到約念之外，有亞希律的兒子巴拿。

　　Baana the son of Ahilud； to him pertained Taanach and Megiddo， and all Bethshean， which is by Zartanah beneath Jezreel， from Bethshean to Abelmeholah， even unto the place that is beyond Jokneam：

　　4：13 在基列的拉末有便基別，他管理在基列的瑪拿西子孫睚珥的城邑，巴珊的亞珥歌伯地的大城六十座，都有城墻和銅閂。

　　The son of Geber， in Ramothgilead； to him pertained the towns of Jair the son of Manasseh， which are in Gilead； to him also pertained the region of Argob， which is in Bashan， threescore great cities with walls and brasen bars：

　　4：14 在瑪哈念有易多的兒子亞希拿達。

　　Ahinadab the son of Iddo had Mahanaim：

　　4：15 在拿弗他利有亞?，斔?，他也娶了所羅門的一個女兒巴實抹為妻。

　　Ahimaaz was in Naphtali； he also took Basmath the daughter of Solomon to wife：

　　4：16 在亞設和亞祿有戶篩的兒子巴拿。

　　Baanah the son of Hushai was in Asher and in Aloth：

　　4：17 在以薩迦有帕路亞的兒子約沙法。

　　Jehoshaphat the son of Paruah， in Issachar：

　　4：18 在便雅憫有以拉的兒子示每。

　　Shimei the son of Elah， in Benjamin：

　　4：19 在基列地，就是從前屬亞摩利王西宏和巴珊王噩之地，有烏利的兒子基別一人管理。

　　Geber the son of Uri was in the country of Gilead， in the country of Sihon king of the Amorites， and of Og king of Bashan； and he was the only officer which was in the land.

　　4：20 猶大人和以色列人如同海邊的沙那樣多，都吃喝快樂。

　　Judah and Israel were many， as the sand which is by the sea in multitude， eating and drinking， and making merry.

　　4：21 所羅門統管諸國，從大河到非利士地，直到埃及的邊界。所羅門在世的日子，這些國都進貢服事他。

　　And Solomon reigned over all kingdoms from the river unto the land of the Philistines， and unto the border of Egypt： they brought presents， and served Solomon all the days of his life.

　　4：22 所羅門每日所用的食物，細面三十歌珥，粗面六十歌珥，And Solomon's provision for one day was thirty measures of fine flour， and threescore measures of meal，

　　4：23 肥牛十只，草場的牛二十只，羊一百只，還有鹿，羚羊，狍子，并肥禽。

　　Ten fat oxen， and twenty oxen out of the pastures， and an hundred sheep， beside harts， and roebucks， and fallowdeer， and fatted fowl.

　　4：24 所羅門管理大河西邊的諸王，以及從提弗薩直到迦薩的全地，四境盡都平安。

　　For he had dominion over all the region on this side the river， from Tiphsah even to Azzah， over all the kings on this side the river： and he had peace on all sides round about him.

　　4：25 所羅門在世的日子，從但到別是巴的猶大人和以色列人，都在自己的葡萄樹下和無花果樹下安然居住。

　　And Judah and Israel dwelt safely， every man under his vine and under his fig tree， from Dan even to Beersheba， all the days of Solomon.

　　4：26 所羅門有套車的馬四萬，還有馬兵一萬二千。

　　And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots， and twelve thousand horsemen.

　　4：27 那十二個官吏各按各月供給所羅門王，并一切與他同席之人的食物，一無所缺。

　　And those officers provided victual for king Solomon， and for all that came unto king Solomon's table， every man in his month： they lacked nothing.

　　4：28 眾人各按各分，將養馬與快馬的大麥和乾草送到官吏那里。

　　Barley also and straw for the horses and dromedaries brought they unto the place where the officers were， every man according to his charge.

　　4：29 神賜給所羅門極大的智慧聰明和廣大的心，如同海沙不可測量。

　　And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much， and largeness of heart， even as the sand that is on the sea shore.

　　4：30 所羅門的智慧超過東方人和埃及人的一切智慧。

　　And Solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east country， and all the wisdom of Egypt.

　　4：31 他的智慧勝過萬人，勝過以斯拉人以探，并瑪曷的兒子希幔，甲各，達大的智慧。他的名聲傳揚在四圍的列國。

　　For he was wiser than all men； than Ethan the Ezrahite， and Heman， and Chalcol， and Darda， the sons of Mahol： and his fame was in all nations round about.

　　4：32 他作箴言三千句，詩歌一千零五首。

　　And he spake three thousand proverbs： and his songs were a thousand and five.

　　4：33 他講論草木，自黎巴嫩的香柏樹直到墻上長的牛膝草，又講論飛禽走獸，昆蟲水族。

　　And he spake of trees， from the cedar tree that is in Lebanon even unto the hyssop that springeth out of the wall： he spake also of beasts， and of fowl， and of creeping things， and of fishes.

　　4：34 天下列王聽見所羅門的智慧，就都差人來聽他的智慧話。

　　And there came of all people to hear the wisdom of Solomon， from all kings of the earth， which had heard of his wisdom.
