7：1 王住在自己宮中，耶和華使他安靖，不被四圍的仇敵擾亂。

　　And it came to pass， when the king sat in his house， and the LORD had given him rest round about from all his enemies；

　　7：2 那時，王對先知拿單說，看哪，我住在香柏木的宮中，神的約柜反在幔子里。

　　That the king said unto Nathan the prophet， See now， I dwell in an house of cedar， but the ark of God dwelleth within curtains.

　　7：3 拿單對王說，你可以照你的心意而行，因為耶和華與你同在。

　　And Nathan said to the king， Go， do all that is in thine heart； for the LORD is with thee.

　　7：4 當夜，耶和華的話臨到拿單說，And it came to pass that night， that the word of the LORD came unto Nathan， saying，

　　7：5 你去告訴我仆人大衛，說耶和華如此說，你豈可建造殿宇給我居住呢。

　　Go and tell my servant David， Thus saith the LORD， Shalt thou build me an house for me to dwell in？

　　7：6 自從我領以色列人出埃及直到今日，我未曾住過殿宇，常在會幕和帳幕中行走。

　　Whereas I have not dwelt in any house since the time that I brought up the children of Israel out of Egypt， even to this day， but have walked in a tent and in a tabernacle.

　　7：7 凡我同以色列人所走的地方，我何曾向以色列一支派的士師，就是我吩咐牧養我民以色列的說，你們為何不給我建造香柏木的殿宇呢。

　　In all the places wherein I have walked with all the children of Israel spake I a word with any of the tribes of Israel， whom I commanded to feed my people Israel， saying， Why build ye not me an house of cedar？

　　7：8 現在，你要告訴我仆人大衛，說萬軍之耶和華如此說，我從羊圈中將你召來，叫你不再跟從羊群，立你作我民以色列的君。

　　Now therefore so shalt thou say unto my servant David， Thus saith the LORD of hosts， I took thee from the sheepcote， from following the sheep， to be ruler over my people， over Israel：

　　7：9 你無論往哪里去，我常與你同在，剪除你的一切仇敵。我必使你得大名，好像世上大大有名的人一樣。

　　And I was with thee whithersoever thou wentest， and have cut off all thine enemies out of thy sight， and have made thee a great name， like unto the name of the great men that are in the earth.

　　7：10 我必為我民以色列選定一個地方，栽培他們，使他們住自己的地方，不再遷移。兇惡之子也不像從前擾害他們，Moreover I will appoint a place for my people Israel， and will plant them， that they may dwell in a place of their own， and move no more； neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them any more， as beforetime，

　　7：11 并不像我命士師治理我民以色列的時候一樣。我必使你安靖，不被一切仇敵擾亂，并且我耶和華應許你，必為你建立家室。

　　And as since the time that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel， and have caused thee to rest from all thine enemies. Also the LORD telleth thee that he will make thee an house.

　　7：12 你壽數滿足，與你列祖同睡的時候，我必使你的后裔接續你的位。我也必堅定他的國。

　　And when thy days be fulfilled， and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers， I will set up thy seed after thee， which shall proceed out of thy bowels， and I will establish his kingdom.

　　7：13 他必為我的名建造殿宇。我必堅定他的國位，直到永遠。

　　He shall build an house for my name， and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever.

　　7：14 我要作他的父，他要作我的子。他若犯了罪，我必用人的杖責打他，用人的鞭責罰他。

　　I will be his father， and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity， I will chasten him with the rod of men， and with the stripes of the children of men：

　　7：15 但我的慈愛仍不離開他，像離開在你面前所廢棄的掃羅一樣。

　　But my mercy shall not depart away from him， as I took it from Saul， whom I put away before thee.

　　7：16 你的家和你的國必在我（原文作你）面前永遠堅立。你的國位也必堅定，直到永遠。

　　And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee： thy throne shall be established for ever.

　　7：17 拿單就按這一切話，照這默示，告訴大衛。

　　According to all these words， and according to all this vision， so did Nathan speak unto David.

　　7：18 于是大衛王進去，坐在耶和華面前，說，主耶和華阿，我是誰。我的家算什么。你竟使我到這地步呢。

　　Then went king David in， and sat before the LORD， and he said， Who am I， O Lord GOD？ and what is my house， that thou hast brought me hitherto？

　　7：19 主耶和華阿，這在你眼中還看為小，又應許你仆人的家至于久遠。主耶和華阿，這豈是人所常遇的事嗎。

　　And this was yet a small thing in thy sight， O Lord GOD； but thou hast spoken also of thy servant's house for a great while to come. And is this the manner of man， O Lord GOD？

　　7：20 主耶和華阿，我還有何言可以對你說呢。因為你知道你的仆人。

　　And what can David say more unto thee？ for thou， Lord GOD， knowest thy servant.

　　7：21 你行這大事使仆人知道，是因你所應許的話，也是照你的心意。

　　For thy word's sake， and according to thine own heart， hast thou done all these great things， to make thy servant know them.

　　7：22 主耶和華阿，你本為大，照我們耳中聽見，沒有可比你的。除你以外再無神。

　　Wherefore thou art great， O LORD God： for there is none like thee， neither is there any God beside thee， according to all that we have heard with our ears.

　　7：23 世上有何民能比你的民以色列呢。你從埃及救贖他們作自己的子民，又在你贖出來的民面前行大而可畏的事，驅逐列邦人和他們的神，顯出你的大名。

　　And what one nation in the earth is like thy people， even like Israel， whom God went to redeem for a people to himself， and to make him a name， and to do for you great things and terrible， for thy land， before thy people， which thou redeemedst to thee from Egypt， from the nations and their gods？

　　7：24 你曾堅立你的民以色列作你的子民，直到永遠。你耶和華也作了他們的神。

　　For thou hast confirmed to thyself thy people Israel to be a people unto thee for ever： and thou， LORD， art become their God.

　　7：25 耶和華神阿，你所應許仆人和仆人家的話，求你堅定，直到永遠。照你所說的而行。

　　And now， O LORD God， the word that thou hast spoken concerning thy servant， and concerning his house， establish it for ever， and do as thou hast said.

　　7：26 愿人永遠尊你的名為大，說，萬軍之耶和華是治理以色列的神。這樣，你仆人大衛的家必在你面前堅立。

　　And let thy name be magnified for ever， saying， The LORD of hosts is the God over Israel： and let the house of thy servant David be established before thee.

　　7：27 萬軍之耶和華以色列的神阿，因你啟示你的仆人說，我必為你建立家室，所以仆人大膽向你如此祈禱。

　　For thou， O LORD of hosts， God of Israel， hast revealed to thy servant， saying， I will build thee an house： therefore hath thy servant found in his heart to pray this prayer unto thee.

　　7：28 主耶和華阿，惟有你是神。你的話是真實的。你也應許將這福氣賜給仆人。

　　And now， O Lord GOD， thou art that God， and thy words be true， and thou hast promised this goodness unto thy servant：

　　7：29 現在求你賜福與仆人的家，可以永存在你面前。主耶和華阿，這是你所應許的。愿你永遠賜福與仆人的家。

　　Therefore now let it please thee to bless the house of thy servant， that it may continue for ever before thee： for thou， O Lord GOD， hast spoken it： and with thy blessing let the house of thy servant be blessed for ever.
