　　12：1 以法蓮人聚集，到了北方，對耶弗他說，你去與亞捫人爭戰(zhàn)，為什么沒有招我們同去呢。我們必用火燒你和你的房屋。

　　And the men of Ephraim gathered themselves together， and went northward， and said unto Jephthah， Wherefore passedst thou over to fight against the children of Ammon， and didst not call us to go with thee？ we will burn thine house upon thee with fire.

　　12：2 耶弗他對他們說，我和我的民與亞捫人大大爭戰(zhàn)。我招你們來，你們竟沒有來救我脫離他們的手。

　　And Jephthah said unto them， I and my people were at great strife with the children of Ammon； and when I called you， ye delivered me not out of their hands.

　　12：3 我見你們不來救我，我就拚命前去攻擊亞捫人，耶和華將他們交在我手中。你們今日為什么上我這里來攻打我呢。

　　And when I saw that ye delivered me not， I put my life in my hands， and passed over against the children of Ammon， and the LORD delivered them into my hand： wherefore then are ye come up unto me this day， to fight against me？

　　12：4 于是耶弗他招聚基列人，與以法蓮人爭戰(zhàn)。基列人擊殺以法蓮人，是因他們說，你們基列人在以法蓮，瑪拿西中間，不過是以法蓮逃亡的人。

　　Then Jephthah gathered together all the men of Gilead， and fought with Ephraim： and the men of Gilead smote Ephraim， because they said， Ye Gileadites are fugitives of Ephraim among the Ephraimites， and among the Manassites.

　　12：5 基列人把守約旦河的渡口，不容以法蓮人過去。以法蓮逃走的人若說，容我過去。基列人就問他說，你是以法蓮人不是。他若說，不是，And the Gileadites took the passages of Jordan before the Ephraimites： and it was so， that when those Ephraimites which were escaped said， Let me go over； that the men of Gilead said unto him， Art thou an Ephraimite？ If he said， Nay；

　　12：6 就對他說，你說示播列……以法蓮人因為咬不真字音，便說西播列。基列人就將他拿住，殺在約旦河的渡口。那時以法蓮人被殺的有四萬二千人。

　　Then said they unto him， Say now Shibboleth： and he said Sibboleth： for he could not frame to pronounce it right. Then they took him， and slew him at the passages of Jordan： and there fell at that time of the Ephraimites forty and two thousand.

　　12：7 耶弗他作以色列的士師六年。基列人耶弗他死了，葬在基列的一座城里。

　　And Jephthah judged Israel six years. Then died Jephthah the Gileadite， and was buried in one of the cities of Gilead.

　　12：8 耶弗他以后，有伯利恒人以比贊作以色列的士師。

　　And after him Ibzan of Bethlehem judged Israel.

　　12：9 他有三十個兒子，三十個女兒。女兒都嫁出去了。他給眾子從外鄉(xiāng)娶了三十個媳婦。他作以色列的士師七年。

　　And he had thirty sons， and thirty daughters， whom he sent abroad， and took in thirty daughters from abroad for his sons. And he judged Israel seven years.

　　12：10 以比贊死了，葬在伯利恒。

　　Then died Ibzan， and was buried at Bethlehem.

　　12：11 以比贊之后，有西布倫人以倫，作以色列的士師十年。

　　And after him Elon， a Zebulonite， judged Israel； and he judged Israel ten years.

　　12：12 西布倫人以倫死了，葬在西布倫地的亞雅侖。

　　And Elon the Zebulonite died， and was buried in Aijalon in the country of Zebulun.

　　12：13 以倫之后，有比拉頓人希列的兒子押頓作以色列的士師。

　　And after him Abdon the son of Hillel， a Pirathonite， judged Israel.

　　12：14 他有四十個兒子，三十個孫子，騎著七十匹驢駒。押頓作以色列的士師八年。

　　And he had forty sons and thirty nephews， that rode on threescore and ten ass colts： and he judged Israel eight years.

　　12：15 比拉頓人希列的兒子押頓死了，葬在以法蓮地的比拉頓，在亞瑪力人的山地。

　　And Abdon the son of Hillel the Pirathonite died， and was buried in Pirathon in the land of Ephraim， in the mount of the Amalekites.
