17：1 凡有殘疾，或有什么惡病的牛羊，你都不可獻給耶和華你的神，因為這是耶和華你神所憎惡的。

　　Thou shalt not sacrifice unto the LORD thy God any bullock， or sheep， wherein is blemish， or any evilfavouredness： for that is an abomination unto the LORD thy God.

　　17：2 在你們中間，在耶和華你神所賜你的諸城中，無論哪座城里，若有人，或男或女，行耶和華你神眼中看為惡的事，違背了他的約，If there be found among you， within any of thy gates which the LORD thy God giveth thee， man or woman， that hath wrought wickedness in the sight of the LORD thy God， in transgressing his covenant，

　　17：3 去事奉敬拜別神，或拜日頭，或拜月亮，或拜天象，是主不曾吩咐的。

　　And hath gone and served other gods， and worshipped them， either the sun， or moon， or any of the host of heaven， which I have not commanded；

　　17：4 有人告訴你，你也聽見了，就要細細地探聽，果然是真，準有這可憎惡的事行在以色列中，And it be told thee， and thou hast heard of it， and enquired diligently， and， behold， it be true， and the thing certain， that such abomination is wrought in Israel：

　　17：5 你就要將行這惡事的男人或女人拉到城門外，用石頭將他打死。

　　Then shalt thou bring forth that man or that woman， which have committed that wicked thing， unto thy gates， even that man or that woman， and shalt stone them with stones， till they die.

　　17：6 要憑兩三個人的口作見證將那當死的人治死。不可憑一個人的口作見證將他治死。

　　At the mouth of two witnesses， or three witnesses， shall he that is worthy of death be put to death； but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.

　　17：7 見證人要先下手，然后眾民也下手將他治死。這樣，就把那惡從你們中間除掉。

　　The hands of the witnesses shall be first upon him to put him to death， and afterward the hands of all the people. So thou shalt put the evil away from among you.

　　17：8 你城中若起了爭訟的事，或因流血，或因爭競，或因毆打，是你難斷的案件，你就當起來，往耶和華你神所選擇的地方If there arise a matter too hard for thee in judgment， between blood and blood， between plea and plea， and between stroke and stroke， being matters of controversy within thy gates： then shalt thou arise， and get thee up into the place which the LORD thy God shall choose；

　　17：9 去見祭司利未人，并當時的審判官，求問他們，他們必將判語指示你。

　　And thou shalt come unto the priests the Levites， and unto the judge that shall be in those days， and enquire； and they shall shew thee the sentence of judgment：

　　17：10 他們在耶和華所選擇的地方指示你的判語，你必照著他們所指教你的一切話謹守遵行。

　　And thou shalt do according to the sentence， which they of that place which the LORD shall choose shall shew thee； and thou shalt observe to do according to all that they inform thee：

　　17：11 要按他們所指教你的律法，照他們所斷定的去行。他們所指示你的判語，你不可偏離左右。

　　According to the sentence of the law which they shall teach thee， and according to the judgment which they shall tell thee， thou shalt do： thou shalt not decline from the sentence which they shall shew thee， to the right hand， nor to the left.

　　17：12 若有人擅敢不聽從那侍立在耶和華你神面前的祭司，或不聽從審判官，那人就必治死。這樣，便將那惡從以色列中除掉。

　　And the man that will do presumptuously， and will not hearken unto the priest that standeth to minister there before the LORD thy God， or unto the judge， even that man shall die： and thou shalt put away the evil from Israel.

　　17：13 眾百姓都要聽見害怕，不再擅敢行事。

　　And all the people shall hear， and fear， and do no more presumptuously.

　　17：14 到了耶和華你神所賜你的地，得了那地居住的時候，若說，我要立王治理我，像四圍的國一樣。

　　When thou art come unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee， and shalt possess it， and shalt dwell therein， and shalt say， I will set a king over me， like as all the nations that are about me；

　　17：15 你總要立耶和華你神所揀選的人為王。必從你弟兄中立一人。不可立你弟兄以外的人為王。

　　Thou shalt in any wise set him king over thee， whom the LORD thy God shall choose： one from among thy brethren shalt thou set king over thee： thou mayest not set a stranger over thee， which is not thy brother.

　　17：16 只是王不可為自己加添馬匹，也不可使百姓回埃及去，為要加添他的馬匹，因耶和華曾吩咐你們說，不可再回那條路去。

　　But he shall not multiply horses to himself， nor cause the people to return to Egypt， to the end that he should multiply horses： forasmuch as the LORD hath said unto you， Ye shall henceforth return no more that way.

　　17：17 他也不可為自己多立妃嬪，恐怕他的心偏邪。也不可為自己多積金銀。

　　Neither shall he multiply wives to himself， that his heart turn not away： neither shall he greatly multiply to himself silver and gold.

　　17：18 他登了國位，就要將祭司利未人面前的這律法書，為自己抄錄一本，And it shall be， when he sitteth upon the throne of his kingdom， that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priests the Levites：

　　17：19 存在他那里，要平生誦讀，好學習敬畏耶和華他的神，謹守遵行這律法書上的一切言語和這些律例，And it shall be with him， and he shall read therein all the days of his life： that he may learn to fear the LORD his God， to keep all the words of this law and these statutes， to do them：

　　17：20 免得他向弟兄心高氣傲，偏左偏右，離了這誡命。這樣，他和他的子孫便可在以色列中，在國位上年長日久。

　　That his heart be not lifted up above his brethren， and that he turn not aside from the commandment， to the right hand， or to the left： to the end that he may prolong his days in his kingdom， he， and his children， in the midst of Israel.
