33：1 耶和華的話臨到我說，Again the word of the LORD came unto me， saying，

　　33：2 人子阿，你要告訴本國的子民說，我使刀劍臨到哪一國，那一國的民從他們中間選立一人為守望的。

　　Son of man， speak to the children of thy people， and say unto them， When I bring the sword upon a land， if the people of the land take a man of their coasts， and set him for their watchman：

　　33：3 他見刀劍臨到那地，若吹角警戒眾民，If when he seeth the sword come upon the land， he blow the trumpet， and warn the people；

　　33：4 凡聽見角聲不受警戒的，刀劍若來除滅了他，他的罪（原文作血）就必歸到自己的頭上。

　　Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet， and taketh not warning； if the sword come， and take him away， his blood shall be upon his own head.

　　33：5 他聽見角聲，不受警戒，他的罪必歸到自己的身上。他若受警戒，便是救了自己的性命。

　　He heard the sound of the trumpet， and took not warning； his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.

　　33：6 倘若守望的人見刀劍臨到，不吹角，以致民不受警戒，刀劍來殺了他們中間的一個人，他雖然死在罪孽之中，我卻要向守望的人討他喪命的罪（原文作血）。

　　But if the watchman see the sword come， and blow not the trumpet， and the people be not warned； if the sword come， and take any person from among them， he is taken away in his iniquity； but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.

　　33：7 人子阿，我照樣立你作以色列家守望的人。所以你要聽我口中的話，替我警戒他們。

　　So thou， O son of man， I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel； therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth， and warn them from me.

　　33：8 我對惡人說，惡人哪，你必要死。你以西結若不開口警戒惡人，使他離開所行的道，這惡人必死在罪孽之中，我卻要向你討他喪命的罪（原文作血）。

　　When I say unto the wicked， O wicked man， thou shalt surely die； if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way， that wicked man shall die in his iniquity； but his blood will I require at thine hand.

　　33：9 倘若你警戒惡人轉離所行的道，他仍不轉離，他必死在罪孽之中，你卻救自己脫離了罪。

　　Nevertheless， if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it； if he do not turn from his way， he shall die in his iniquity； but thou hast delivered thy soul.

　　33：10 人子阿，你要對以色列家說，你們常說，我們的過犯罪惡在我們身上，我們必因此消滅，怎能存活呢。

　　Therefore， O thou son of man， speak unto the house of Israel； Thus ye speak， saying， If our transgressions and our sins be upon us， and we pine away in them， how should we then live？

　　33：11 你對他們說，主耶和華說，我指著我的永生起誓，我斷不喜悅惡人死亡，惟喜悅惡人轉離所行的道而活。以色列家阿，你們轉回，轉回吧。離開惡道，何必死亡呢。

　　Say unto them， As I live， saith the Lord GOD， I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked； but that the wicked turn from his way and live： turn ye， turn ye from your evil ways； for why will ye die， O house of Israel？

　　33：12 人子阿，你要對本國的人民說，義人的義，在犯罪之日不能救他。至于惡人的惡，在他轉離惡行之日也不能使他傾倒。義人在犯罪之日也不能因他的義存活。

　　Therefore， thou son of man， say unto the children of thy people， The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression： as for the wickedness of the wicked， he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness； neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth.

　　33：13 我對義人說，你必定存活。他若倚靠他的義而作罪孽，他所行的義都不被記念。他必因所作的罪孽死亡。

　　When I shall say to the righteous， that he shall surely live； if he trust to his own righteousness， and commit iniquity， all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered； but for his iniquity that he hath committed， he shall die for it.

　　33：14 再者，我對惡人說，你必定死亡。他若轉離他的罪，行正直與合理的事，Again， when I say unto the wicked， Thou shalt surely die； if he turn from his sin， and do that which is lawful and right；

　　33：15 還人的當頭和所搶奪的，遵行生命的律例，不作罪孽，他必定存活，不致死亡。

　　If the wicked restore the pledge， give again that he had robbed， walk in the statutes of life， without committing iniquity； he shall surely live， he shall not die.

　　33：16 他所犯的一切罪必不被記念。他行了正直與合理的事，必定存活。

　　None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him： he hath done that which is lawful and right； he shall surely live.

　　33：17 你本國的子民還說，主的道不公平。其實他們的道不公平。

　　Yet the children of thy people say， The way of the Lord is not equal： but as for them， their way is not equal.

　　33：18 義人轉離他的義而作罪孽，就必因此死亡。

　　When the righteous turneth from his righteousness， and committeth iniquity， he shall even die thereby.

　　33：19 惡人轉離他的惡，行正直與合理的事，就必因此存活。

　　But if the wicked turn from his wickedness， and do that which is lawful and right， he shall live thereby.

　　33：20 你們還說，主的道不公平。以色列家阿，我必按你們各人所行的審判你們。

　　Yet ye say， The way of the Lord is not equal. O ye house of Israel， I will judge you every one after his ways.

　　33：21 我們被擄之后十二年十月初五日，有人從耶路撒冷逃到我這里，說，城已攻破。

　　And it came to pass in the twelfth year of our captivity， in the tenth month， in the fifth day of the month， that one that had escaped out of Jerusalem came unto me， saying， The city is smitten.

　　33：22 逃來的人未到前一日的晚上，耶和華的靈（原文作手）降在我身上，開我的口。到第二日早晨，那人來到我這里，我口就開了，不再緘默。

　　Now the hand of the LORD was upon me in the evening， afore he that was escaped came； and had opened my mouth， until he came to me in the morning； and my mouth was opened， and I was no more dumb.

　　33：23 耶和華的話臨到我說，Then the word of the LORD came unto me， saying，

　　33：24 人子阿，住在以色列荒廢之地的人說，亞伯拉罕獨自一人能得這地為業，我們人數眾多，這地更是給我們為業的。

　　Son of man， they that inhabit those wastes of the land of Israel speak， saying， Abraham was one， and he inherited the land： but we are many； the land is given us for inheritance.

　　33：25 所以你要對他們說，主耶和華如此說，你們吃帶血的物，仰望偶像，并且殺人流血，你們還能得這地為業嗎。

　　Wherefore say unto them， Thus saith the Lord GOD； Ye eat with the blood， and lift up your eyes toward your idols， and shed blood： and shall ye possess the land？

　　33：26 你們倚仗自己的刀劍行可憎的事，人人玷污鄰舍的妻，你們還能得這地為業嗎。

　　Ye stand upon your sword， ye work abomination， and ye defile every one his neighbour's wife： and shall ye possess the land？

　　33：27 你要對他們這樣說，主耶和華如此說，我指著我的永生起誓，在荒場中的，必倒在刀下。在田野間的，必交給野獸吞吃。在保障和洞里的，必遭瘟疫而死。

　　Say thou thus unto them， Thus saith the Lord GOD； As I live， surely they that are in the wastes shall fall by the sword， and him that is in the open field will I give to the beasts to be devoured， and they that be in the forts and in the caves shall die of the pestilence.

　　33：28 我必使這地荒涼，令人驚駭。她因勢力而有的驕傲也必止息。以色列的山都必荒涼，無人經過。

　　For I will lay the land most desolate， and the pomp of her strength shall cease； and the mountains of Israel shall be desolate， that none shall pass through.

　　33：29 我因他們所行一切可憎的事使地荒涼，令人驚駭。那時，他們就知道我是耶和華。

　　Then shall they know that I am the LORD， when I have laid the land most desolate because of all their abominations which they have committed.

　　33：30 人子阿，你本國的子民在墻垣旁邊，在房屋門口談論你。弟兄對弟兄彼此說，來吧。聽聽有什么話從耶和華而出。

　　Also， thou son of man， the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses， and speak one to another， every one to his brother， saying， Come， I pray you， and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the LORD.

　　33：31 他們來到你這里如同民來聚會，坐在你面前彷佛是我的民。他們聽你的話卻不去行。因為他們的口多顯愛情，心卻追隨財利。

　　And they come unto thee as the people cometh， and they sit before thee as my people， and they hear thy words， but they will not do them： for with their mouth they shew much love， but their heart goeth after their covetousness.

　　33：32 他們看你如善于奏樂，聲音幽雅之人所唱的雅歌，他們聽你的話卻不去行。

　　And， lo， thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice， and can play well on an instrument： for they hear thy words， but they do them not.

　　33：33 看哪，所說的快要應驗。應驗了，他們就知道在他們中間有了先知。

　　And when this cometh to pass， （lo， it will come，） then shall they know that a prophet hath been among them.
