8：1 于是各人都回家去了。耶穌卻往橄欖山去。

　　Jesus went unto the mount of Olives.

　　8：2 清早又回到殿里。眾百姓都到他那里去，他就坐下教訓(xùn)他們。

　　And early in the morning he came again into the temple， and all the people came unto him； and he sat down， and taught them.

　　8：3 文士和法利賽人，帶著一個(gè)行淫時(shí)被拿的婦人來(lái)，叫他站在當(dāng)中。

　　And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery； and when they had set her in the midst，

　　8：4 就對(duì)耶穌說(shuō)，夫子，這婦人是正行淫之時(shí)被拿的。

　　They say unto him， Master， this woman was taken in adultery， in the very act.

　　8：5 摩西在律法上吩咐我們，把這樣的婦人用石頭打死。你說(shuō)該把他怎嗎樣呢。

　　Now Moses in the law commanded us， that such should be stoned： but what sayest thou？

　　8：6 他們說(shuō)這話，乃試探耶穌，要得著告他的把柄。耶穌卻彎著腰用指頭在地上畫(huà)字。

　　This they said， tempting him， that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down， and with his finger wrote on the ground， as though he heard them not.

　　8：7 他們還是不住的問(wèn)他，耶穌直起腰來(lái)，對(duì)他們說(shuō)，你們中間誰(shuí)是沒(méi)有罪的，誰(shuí)就可以先拿石頭打他。

　　So when they continued asking him， he lifted up himself， and said unto them， He that is without sin among you， let him first cast a stone at her.

　　8：8 于是又彎著腰用指頭在地上畫(huà)字。

　　And again he stooped down， and wrote on the ground.

　　8：9 他們聽(tīng)見(jiàn)這話，就從老到少一個(gè)一個(gè)的都出去了。只剩下耶穌一人。還有那婦人仍然站在當(dāng)中。

　　And they which heard it， being convicted by their own conscience， went out one by one， beginning at the eldest， even unto the last： and Jesus was left alone， and the woman standing in the midst.

　　8：10 耶穌就直起腰來(lái)，對(duì)他說(shuō)，婦人，那些人在那里呢。沒(méi)有人定你的罪嗎。

　　When Jesus had lifted up himself， and saw none but the woman， he said unto her， Woman， where are those thine accusers？ hath no man condemned thee？

　　8：11 他說(shuō)，主阿，沒(méi)有。耶穌說(shuō)，我也不定你的罪。去吧。從此不要再犯罪了。

　　She said， No man， Lord. And Jesus said unto her， Neither do I condemn thee： go， and sin no more.

　　8：12 耶穌又對(duì)眾人說(shuō)，我是世上的光。跟從我的，就不在黑暗里走，必要得著生命的光。

　　Then spake Jesus again unto them， saying， I am the light of the world： he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness， but shall have the light of life.

　　8：13 法利賽人對(duì)他說(shuō)，你是為自己作見(jiàn)證。你的見(jiàn)證不真。

　　The Pharisees therefore said unto him， Thou bearest record of thyself； thy record is not true.

　　8：14 耶穌說(shuō)，我雖然為自己作見(jiàn)證，我的見(jiàn)證還是真的。因我知道我是從那里來(lái)，往那里去。你們卻不知道我是從那里來(lái)，往那里去。

　　Jesus answered and said unto them， Though I bear record of myself， yet my record is true： for I know whence I came， and whither I go； but ye cannot tell whence I come， and whither I go.

　　8：15 你們是以外貌（原文作憑肉身）判斷人。我卻不判斷人。

　　Ye judge after the flesh； I judge no man.

　　8：16 就是判斷人，我的判斷也是真的。因?yàn)椴皇俏要?dú)自在這里，還有差我來(lái)的父與我同在。

　　And yet if I judge， my judgment is true： for I am not alone， but I and the Father that sent me.

　　8：17 你們的律法上也記著說(shuō)，兩個(gè)人的見(jiàn)證是真的。

　　It is also written in your law， that the testimony of two men is true.

　　8：18 我是為自己作見(jiàn)證，還有差我來(lái)的父，也是為我作見(jiàn)證。

　　I am one that bear witness of myself， and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.

　　8：19 他們就問(wèn)他說(shuō)，你的父在那里。耶穌回答說(shuō)，你們不認(rèn)識(shí)我，也不認(rèn)識(shí)我的父。若認(rèn)識(shí)我，也就認(rèn)識(shí)我的父。

　　Then said they unto him， Where is thy Father？ Jesus answered， Ye neither know me， nor my Father： if ye had known me， ye should have known my Father also.

　　8：20 這些話是耶穌在殿里的庫(kù)房，教訓(xùn)人時(shí)所說(shuō)的。也沒(méi)有人拿他。因?yàn)樗臅r(shí)候還沒(méi)有到。

　　These words spake Jesus in the treasury， as he taught in the temple： and no man laid hands on him； for his hour was not yet come.

　　8：21 耶穌又對(duì)他們說(shuō)，我要去了，你們要找我，并且你們要死在罪中。我所去的地方，你們不能到。

　　Then said Jesus again unto them， I go my way， and ye shall seek me， and shall die in your sins： whither I go， ye cannot come.

　　8：22 猶太人說(shuō)，他說(shuō)我所去的地方，你們不能到，難道他要自盡嗎。

　　Then said the Jews， Will he kill himself？ because he saith， Whither I go， ye cannot come.

　　8：23 耶穌對(duì)他們說(shuō)，你們是從下頭來(lái)的，我是從上頭來(lái)的。你們是屬這世界的，我不是屬這世界的。

　　And he said unto them， Ye are from beneath； I am from above： ye are of this world； I am not of this world.

　　8：24 所以我對(duì)你們說(shuō)，你們要死在罪中，你們?nèi)舨恍盼沂腔剑匾涝谧镏小?/p>

　　I said therefore unto you， that ye shall die in your sins： for if ye believe not that I am he， ye shall die in your sins.

　　8：25 他們就問(wèn)他說(shuō)，你是誰(shuí)。耶穌對(duì)他們說(shuō)，就是我從起初所告訴你們的。

　　Then said they unto him， Who art thou？ And Jesus saith unto them， Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning.

　　8：26 我有許多事講論你們，判斷你們，但那差我來(lái)的是真的。我在他那里所聽(tīng)見(jiàn)的，我就傳給世人。

　　I have many things to say and to judge of you： but he that sent me is true； and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him.

　　8：27 他們不明白耶穌是指著父說(shuō)的。

　　They understood not that he spake to them of the Father.

　　8：28 所以耶穌說(shuō)，你們舉起人子以后，必知道我是基督，并且知道我沒(méi)有一件事，是憑著自己作的。我說(shuō)這話，乃是照著父所教訓(xùn)我的。

　　Then said Jesus unto them， When ye have lifted up the Son of man， then shall ye know that I am he， and that I do nothing of myself； but as my Father hath taught me， I speak these things.

　　8：29 那差我來(lái)的，是與我同在。他沒(méi)有撇下我獨(dú)自在這里，因?yàn)槲页Ｗ魉矚g的事。

　　And he that sent me is with me： the Father hath not left me alone； for I do always those things that please him.

　　8：30 耶穌說(shuō)這話的時(shí)候，就有許多人信他。

　　As he spake these words， many believed on him.

　　8：31 耶穌對(duì)信他的猶太人說(shuō)，你們?nèi)舫３Ｗ袷匚业牡溃驼媸俏业拈T徒。

　　Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him， If ye continue in my word， then are ye my disciples indeed；

　　8：32 你們必曉得真理，真理必叫你們得以自由。

　　And ye shall know the truth， and the truth shall make you free.

　　8：33 他們回答說(shuō)，我們是亞伯拉罕的后裔，從來(lái)沒(méi)有作過(guò)誰(shuí)的奴仆。你怎嗎說(shuō)，你們必得以自由呢。

　　They answered him， We be Abraham's seed， and were never in bondage to any man： how sayest thou， Ye shall be made free？

　　8：34 耶穌回答說(shuō)，我實(shí)實(shí)在在的告訴你們。所有犯罪的，就是罪的奴仆。

　　Jesus answered them， Verily， verily， I say unto you， Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.

　　8：35 奴仆不能永遠(yuǎn)住在家里，兒子是永遠(yuǎn)住在家里。

　　And the servant abideth not in the house for ever： but the Son abideth ever.

　　8：36 所以天父的兒子若叫你們自由，你們就真自由了。

　　If the Son therefore shall make you free， ye shall be free indeed.

　　8：37 我知道你們是亞伯拉罕的子孫，你們卻想要?dú)⑽摇Ｒ驗(yàn)槟銈冃睦锶莶幌挛业牡馈?/p>

　　I know that ye are Abraham's seed； but ye seek to kill me， because my word hath no place in you.

　　8：38 我所說(shuō)的，是在我父那里看見(jiàn)的。你們所行的，是在你們的父那里聽(tīng)見(jiàn)的。

　　I speak that which I have seen with my Father： and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.

　　8：39 他們說(shuō)，我們的父就是亞伯拉罕。耶穌說(shuō)，你們?nèi)羰莵啿钡膬鹤樱捅匦衼啿彼械氖隆?/p>

　　They answered and said unto him， Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them， If ye were Abraham's children， ye would do the works of Abraham.

　　8：40 我將在神那里所聽(tīng)見(jiàn)的真理，告訴了你們，現(xiàn)在你們卻想要?dú)⑽摇＿@不是亞伯拉罕所行的事。

　　But now ye seek to kill me， a man that hath told you the truth， which I have heard of God： this did not Abraham.

　　8：41 你們是行你們父所行的事。他們說(shuō)，我們不是從淫亂生的。我們只有一位父就是神。

　　Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him， We be not born of fornication； we have one Father， even God.

　　8：42 耶穌說(shuō)，倘若神是你們的父，你們就必愛(ài)我。因?yàn)槲冶臼浅鲇谏瘢彩菑纳穸鴣?lái)，并不是由著自己來(lái)，乃是他差我來(lái)。

　　Jesus said unto them， If God were your Father， ye would love me： for I proceeded forth and came from God； neither came I of myself， but he sent me.

　　8：43 你們?yōu)槭裁床幻靼孜业脑捘兀瑹o(wú)非是因你們不能聽(tīng)我的道。

　　Why do ye not understand my speech？ even because ye cannot hear my word.

　　8：44 你們是出于你們的父魔鬼，你們父的私欲，你們偏要行，他從起初是殺人的，不守真里。因他心里沒(méi)有真里，他說(shuō)謊是出于自己，因他本來(lái)是說(shuō)謊的，也是說(shuō)謊之人的父。

　　Ye are of your father the devil， and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning， and abode not in the truth， because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie， he speaketh of his own： for he is a liar， and the father of it.

　　8：45 我將真理告訴你們，你們就因此不信我。

　　And because I tell you the truth， ye believe me not.

　　8：46 你們中間誰(shuí)能指證我有罪呢。我既然將真理告訴你們，為什么不信我呢。

　　Which of you convinceth me of sin？ And if I say the truth， why do ye not believe me？

　　8：47 出于神的，必聽(tīng)神的話。你們不聽(tīng)，因?yàn)槟銈儾皇浅鲇谏瘛?/p>

　　He that is of God heareth God's words： ye therefore hear them not， because ye are not of God.

　　8：48 猶太人回答說(shuō)，我們說(shuō)，你是撒瑪利亞人，并且是鬼附著的，這話豈不正對(duì)嗎。

　　Then answered the Jews， and said unto him， Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan， and hast a devil？

　　8：49 耶穌說(shuō)，我不是鬼附著的。我尊敬我的父，你們倒輕慢我。

　　Jesus answered， I have not a devil； but I honour my Father， and ye do dishonour me.

　　8：50 我不求自己的榮耀。有一位為我求榮耀定是非的。

　　And I seek not mine own glory： there is one that seeketh and judgeth.

　　8：51 我實(shí)實(shí)在在的告訴你們，人若遵守我的道，就永遠(yuǎn)不見(jiàn)死。

　　Verily， verily， I say unto you， If a man keep my saying， he shall never see death.

　　8：52 猶太人對(duì)他說(shuō)，現(xiàn)在我們知道你是鬼附著的。亞伯拉罕死了，眾先知也死了。你還說(shuō)，人若遵守我的道，就永遠(yuǎn)不嘗死味。

　　Then said the Jews unto him， Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead， and the prophets； and thou sayest， If a man keep my saying， he shall never taste of death.

　　8：53 難道你比我們的祖宗亞伯拉罕還大嗎。他死了，眾先知也死了。你將自己當(dāng)作什么人呢。

　　Art thou greater than our father Abraham， which is dead？ and the prophets are dead： whom makest thou thyself？

　　8：54 耶穌回答說(shuō)，我若榮耀自己，我的榮耀就算不得什么。榮耀我的乃是我的父，就是你們所說(shuō)是你們的神。

　　Jesus answered， If I honour myself， my honour is nothing： it is my Father that honoureth me； of whom ye say， that he is your God：

　　8：55 你們未曾認(rèn)識(shí)他。我卻認(rèn)識(shí)他。我若說(shuō)不認(rèn)識(shí)他，我就是說(shuō)謊的，像你們一樣，但我認(rèn)識(shí)他，也遵守他的道。

　　Yet ye have not known him； but I know him： and if I should say， I know him not， I shall be a liar like unto you： but I know him， and keep his saying.

　　8：56 你們的祖宗亞伯拉罕歡歡喜喜的仰望我的日子。既看見(jiàn)了，就快樂(lè)。

　　Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day： and he saw it， and was glad.

　　8：57 猶太人說(shuō)，你還沒(méi)有五十歲，豈能見(jiàn)過(guò)亞伯拉罕呢。

　　Then said the Jews unto him， Thou art not yet fifty years old， and hast thou seen Abraham？

　　8：58 耶穌說(shuō)，我實(shí)實(shí)在在的告訴你們，還沒(méi)有亞伯拉罕，就有了我。

　　Jesus said unto them， Verily， verily， I say unto you， Before Abraham was， I am.

　　8：59 于是他們拿石頭要打他。耶穌卻躲藏，從殿里出去了。

　　Then took they up stones to cast at him： but Jesus hid himself， and went out of the temple， going through the midst of them， and so passed by.
